Welcome back college basketball fans! We have a fantastic slate of games today with 12 ranked teams on the board, and a ton of high-profile matches. As conference play kicks into gear, it only ratchets up the pressure and intensity in these matchups.

Can Tennessee’s Perfect Run Continue?
Tennessee is coming off a 24-point blowout win over a very talented Arkansas squad, and don’t look to slow down anytime soon. They have ripped off 14 straight wins to start the season, beating everyone by an average of double digits. While this has been impressive, they have yet to be challenged on the road this season.
The Vols have been impressive in their 2 road games, that goes without saying. Going to Louisville and Illinois and winning both of those outright clearly shows how dominant this team can be. Having said that, they caught Louisville at the perfect time, early in the season and Louisville is not quite at the level of Tennessee.
The Illinois game was more impressive as Illinois has been playing very well this season, but that was an out-of-conference game. Now we get into the thick of the SEC where rivalries bring out the best in both teams and boy can it be hard to win on the road.
Florida in the Perfect Spot to Catch Tennessee?
Florida was undefeated going into their Saturday matchup with Kentucky saw them keep that game close, but ultimately fell short 100-106, on the road. Now Florida returns home with an opportunity to end Tennessee’s perfect season, and I think they can get this done tonight.
Tennessee is probably my least favorite team to wager against right now, they have the complete package to win the championship this season and is not a team I want to fade often. Florida, however, is 15-0 in their last 15 home games and are 8-0 their last 8 games against the spread.
To add to that Florida’s last home loss was practically 1 year ago to yesterday, losing January 6th last season to Kentucky, which they returned the favor this past Saturday. This game also presents an opportunity for Florida to get Tennessee back as they played 1 time last year and Tennessee won at home by 19. This should be a tight ball game, take Florida!
