Happy Thursday, all! We’re now just one week away from the official start of March Madness, and the NBA’s regular season has just over a month remaining. We’re getting down to the wire when it comes to the basketball season, and we’re excited to watch it all unfold.
There are some awesome college games on the slate tonight as some conference tournaments are starting to wrap up. It was hard to pick which one we wanted to hone in on, but we decided to focus on TCU vs. Kansas in the Big 12 Tournament.
The Jayhawks are 5.5-point favorites, an indication that oddsmakers project this to be a close game. With that in mind, let’s get into our favorite player props from this one, all of which can be found on Underdog!
Tre White OVER 12.5 Points
We’re not sure why Tre White’s points line is so low in this game, but we’re just going to say thank you to Underdog, who are seemingly offering a set-and-forget piece to any parlay placed tonight. White has not only had 13+ points in 5 of his past 6 games, but he’s had 16+ in 4 of them, and 23 in 2. This guy is red hot for the Jayhawks, and at this point, it seems foolish to fade him, so we’re taking the over at this discounted rate for the foreseeable future.
Xavier Edmonds OVER .5 Double Doubles
We don’t normally go after double-double props, but Xavier Edmonds has had double-doubles in six straight away games. He’s especially good on the road, and he’ll need to be excellent in what’s effectively a home game for Kansas. Edmonds has had 10+ boards in 7 of his past 10 games, so similarly with White, we’re riding the hot hand, believing he’s in for another big night.
David Punch UNDER 24.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists
We’re really confident in Edmonds, but the same cannot be said for his teammate David Punch, especially when it comes to his PRA line. Outside of his boom game against Oklahoma State, in which he had 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists, Punch has been quiet lately. He’s had 25 or fewer PRA in 10 of his past 12 games, a trend we’re going to fade until further notice. Edmonds should run the show tonight, giving players like Punch fewer opportunities to succeed, so we’ll take his PRA under as a result.
