March Madness Picks 3 Player Props for March 20

We’ve officially made it to the first of the two best sports days of the year! March Madness kicks off today, and there are several awesome games on the docket to tune into. We’ve got you covered with the best player props from Underdog throughout the Tournament and are excited to share our top plays from today’s action.

Whether you’re taking the day off to watch the games, or if you’re going to be sneaking looks at the box scores throughout the workday, these props will hopefully be a guide to help us all have some extra money in our pockets heading into the weekend. Let’s get started!

Ryan Kalkbrenner (Creighton) OVER 20.5 Points

If Creighton is going to take down Louisville in the first game of the Tournament, Ryan Kalkbrenner will need to have a massive game. Kalkbrenner is no stranger to this event, as he has played hero ball in past years, which should help him keep a level head ahead of this matchup, approaching this like just another game.

He put up 23 against the Akron Zips in Creighton’s first game of March Madness last year, and we expect a similar result from him against Louisville today. They might have a strong defense, but with Kalkbrenner’s experience and scoring ability, we’re still confident in what he can do against any opponent.

John Tonje (Wisconsin) OVER 21.5 Points

Was John Tonje snubbed as a finalist for the Wooden Award? The jury is still out on that debate, but Tonje could enter this game against Montana with increased motivations to lay on the hurt from a scoring perspective.

Tonje put up 32 points against Michigan State in the semifinal of the Big 10 Tournament, a 2 seed in the tournament that many people have picked in their Elite Eight if not their Final Four. He comes to play in big moments, and with Wisconsin’s relatively easy matchup with Montana in mind, look for Tonje to be hot out of the gates and score at least 22 points in this one.

Hunter Dickinson (Kansas) OVER 32.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists

Kansas is taking on Arkansas today, a battle that many are excited about, especially since Kansas was a bit of a surprise team to make the Tournament. Now that they’re here, they might as well do something with the opportunity, which is where Hunter Dickinson comes in.

The transferred center has been nothing short of spectacular with his new team, and considering his Tournament experience, he should crush the over on his PRA line. Kansas needs him to step up if they want to make a deep run, which starts with today’s matchup with Arkansas.
