Indiana vs Kentucky: 3 Player Prop Predictions and Best Bet for Saturday, December 13

By Earnest Horn Updated December 12, 2025
Indiana vs Kentucky 3 Player Prop Predictions and Best Bet

A pair of blue bloods will headline Saturday’s college basketball slate when the Indiana Hoosiers (8-2) head to Rupp Arena to take on the Kentucky Wildcats (6-4).

Indiana has faced a tough slate over the past two weeks. After defeating Kansas State before Thanksgiving Day, the Hoosiers dropped back-to-back games to Minnesota and Louisville. The Big Ten team evened its conference record this week, defeating Penn State easily.

Kentucky has challenged itself this season. The Wildcats have dropped four games to ranked opponents, losing to Louisville, Michigan State, North Carolina, and Gonzaga. Only their loss to the Zags was ugly as the Northwest school won 94-59 in Nashville last week.

Can Indiana earn a signature win against the Wildcats inside Rupp Arena? We’ll cover that and provide bettors with our top three player props for Saturday’s game.

Kentucky Wildcats G Otega Oweh OVER 14.5 Points

Kentucky’s pipeline of NBA players should include Otega Oweh after this season. The 6-foot-4 senior is averaging 14.4 points per game while grabbing 4.2 rebounds and dishing out 2.4 assists on average each night.

In three of his team’s 10 games, Oweh has led the Wildcats in scoring. No other Kentucky player has punched their name on the list more than once.

Saturday’s matchup will be a strong one between two defensive-minded teams. Indiana and Kentucky are both yielding 67 points per game to opponents. Although points will be at a premium, bettors should expect Oweh to lead the way for Kentucky. Take him to cover his points prop wager against the Hoosiers.

Indiana Hoosiers F Sam Alexis UNDER 5.5 Rebounds

Indiana has a veteran lineup in 2025 with six seniors on the roster. Forward Sam Alexis, a transfer from Florida this year, is among that half-dozen players. The 6-foot-9 senior is averaging 9.0 points and a team-best 5.4 rebounds per night despite starting only one contest thus far.

After starting the season with four games where he recorded eight or more rebounds, the senior’s glass production has dropped. He’s recorded only nine total rebounds over the past three games. That’s why bettors should take the under on this player prop, especially as the Wildcats are out-rebounding opponents by nearly nine on average per night.

Indiana Hoosiers F Tucker DeVries Over 3.5 Made Threes

When Darian DeVries accepted the Indiana job, it was a foregone conclusion he would bring son Tucker with him. The 6-foot-7 forward has continued to shine this season, scoring 17.2 points, logging 4.7 rebounds, and dishing out 3.4 assists through 10 games.

DeVries is better known for his long-range shooting. The senior is averaging 3.5 made trifectas a game, a line tied for 14th-best in the nation. It’s his second straight season averaging at least three made three-pointers per game.

His matchup on Saturday is a tough one as Kentucky is holding opponents to under 30 percent from behind the arc. Despite the Wildcats’ strong defense, expect DeVries to hit at least three shots from long distance to cover this prop wager.

Best Bet: Kentucky (-4.5)

Rupp Arena is a tough place to play. The Wildcats are 6-1 at home this season, only dropping a three-point contest to North Carolina on December 2nd. Can the Hoosiers give Kentucky its second loss inside one of college basketball’s best environments?

Don’t expect that on Sunday. The Wildcats desperately need a quality win heading into their SEC schedule. Expect Kentucky to jump in front of Indiana and keep a lead throughout, winning this game by at least five points to cover the spread.
