3 College Basketball Player Props for Wednesday, January 22

Happy Wednesday to all! The college basketball season is in full swing, and the best teams are starting to reveal themselves. There has, however, been a lot of shifting in the Top 25 throughout the year, as some teams have taken a dip while others have thrived.

March isn’t that far away, so it’s a great time to watch these teams and players, hoping to get a leg-up on your co-workers and friends when it comes to March Madness.

We’re excited about the slate of games tonight, especially since five ranked teams are playing, including a matchup between No. 13 Texas A&M and No. 16 Ole Miss.

We’ve taken a good, hard look at Underdog’s offering for the evening, hoping to sweep the board with our player prop selections. Without further ado, let’s dive into it!

L.J. Cryer (Houston) OVER 13.5 Points

L.J. Cryer was one of the best players in the Tournament last year. He has been an instrumental part of Houston’s basketball success and looked to provide a similar value heading into this season.

He’s gotten off to a bit of a slow start, only averaging 13.8 PPG, but we think he’s about to start heating up in the later stages of the season.

Cryer has only achieved 14+ points in one of his last five games, but we’re chalking that up to some uncharacteristically poor shooting nights. Look for Cryer to bounce back against a lackluster Utah squad tonight, putting up at least 14 points.

Alex Condon (Florida) OVER 11.5 Rebounds & Assists

Alex Condon has been a stable force for the Florida Gators all season long when it comes to his rebounding and assist numbers. Condon leads the team in rebounds, and his 2.3 assists per game are not bad for a 6’11” forward.

He’ll look to lead the charge against South Carolina tonight, hoping to bring the Gators a much-needed win to keep them on track. Condon has been Mr. Reliable on the glass and in the rebounding category, and we’re hoping for more of the same from him in this one.

Zhuric Phelps (Texas A&M) OVER 14.5 Points

Zhuric Phelps is coming off a low-scoring game by his standards, putting up just 13 points against LSU. However, in the three games before that, all against ranked opponents, he logged 21, 24, and 34 points, respectively.

Phelps hasn’t had less than 15 points against a ranked opponent since late November, a game where he went 2-15 from the field. He comes to play in the biggest moments, which is why we’re taking the over on his point total in this matchup vs. a ranked opponent in Ole Miss.
