3 College Basketball Player Props for February 20

Happy Thursday to everyone reading this! It’s a great day to be a sports fan, as the NBA is back in full force, there are a lot of college basketball games taking place, and the Four Nations Final is also happening.

With so much to watch, it might be difficult to decide what you want to bet on, but we’ve got the inside scoop into the college basketball slate, which is what we’re honing in on. We’ve put our favorite Underdog player props together from this matchup, hoping to hit it big with a sweep of the board. Let’s dive into our favorite picks from this evening’s CBB action!

Derik Queen (MD) OVER 17.5 Points

We had to take a player from the only ranked matchup of the night, and after doing our research, the over on Derik Queen’s points made the most sense. Queen has been outstanding for No. 20 Maryland all year, leading the team in scoring and also being an elite rebounder.

The numbers he’s putting up as a freshman are truly eye-popping, and if he keeps this up, he’ll continue to get traction and put himself into consideration for the draft in no time. Queen has scored at least 18 points in his past three games, putting in work against non-ranked opponents like USC, who he’s facing tonight.

We like his chances to extend that streak to four games, which is why we’re taking the over in this spot.

Corey Washington (Wichita St) UNDER 14.5 Points

We were a bit surprised to see this line so high for Corey Williams tonight, seeing that his season average for points is 13.7. He has had 15+ in three of his past four games, but that’s seemed like more of a fluke than anything given his inordinately high number of shots taken during this span.

Washington has typically been more of a facilitator than a scorer, so we’re fading the Wichita State junior tonight, believing he’ll have closer to 10 points than 15. This matchup with FAU might seem enticing given the fact that they allow over 76 PPG, but we can’t trust Washington to have another blow-up game, which is why we’re fading him in this one.

Malik Thomas (SF) OVER 19.5 Points

Malik Thomas has been a breath of fresh air for San Francisco all season. The senior guard is nearly averaging 20 points per game, giving a lot of attention to the Dons, who might not be as relevant otherwise.

Thomas and the Dons are taking on the Pacific Tigers tonight, a team that has struggled all year. He shouldn’t have a problem hitting the 20-point mark against them, making his presence heard from the jump.
