Sunday Night Football brings the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5) to Soldier Field to face the Chicago Bears (6-2), with kickoff set for 8:20 PM ET on NBC. Chicago is a roughly six-point home favorite and the total is hovering around 47, the kind of number that suggests points, passing, and plenty of props worth chewing on.

We went through the board and landed on three receiving-yards markets that tell three very different stories: a Bears breakout star the books keep pricing below his average, a Bears veteran whose line looks a little rich after one big night, and a Buccaneers wideout whose availability is the whole plot. Grab a snack, because this one has twists.

Luther Burden III Over 65.5 Receiving Yards: The Books Keep Sleeping on Him

Luther Burden III (No. 10) has quietly become the engine of the Chicago passing game. The second-year receiver has 42 catches on 56 targets for a team-best 547 yards and three touchdowns, good for about 68 receiving yards per game. He leads the Bears in targets, receptions, and yards, yet most books have him at 65.5, a number sitting below his season average attached to the top option in the offense.

His game log has been a roller coaster in the best way. Burden went for 130 yards against New England and 95 against Atlanta, then caught seven passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in last week’s win at Seattle. The volume has been real, with seven or more catches in three of his last five games, and when targets come in bunches the yards follow.

The matchup is not a layup, since Tampa Bay allows about 206 passing yards per game, ninth-best in the league. But the Bucs have also spent two weeks playing rushing-heavy football, and Caleb Williams has been humming since his hamstring return, throwing for 305, 308, and 247 yards. Williams is completing 70.9 percent of his passes with six touchdowns against one interception, and with tight end Cole Kmet on injured reserve, even more looks funnel toward the wide receivers. Burden is the first read.

Rome Odunze Under 48.5 Receiving Yards: Fade the Hot Hand

Here is where we get contrarian. Rome Odunze (No. 15) just popped for four catches and 87 yards against Seattle, including three grabs of 20-plus yards, and the market responded by posting him at 48.5 at FanDuel and BetMGM, with some books as low as 45.5. That is a respectable number, but the full picture is bumpier than one big Monday night.

Before the Seattle game, Odunze logged 39 yards against Atlanta and 40 against Green Bay. His reception line sits at just 3.5 per game, and he has cleared that number in only three of eight games this season. He lives and dies by explosive plays rather than steady volume, and explosive plays are the first thing to dry up when a defense tightens the field.

Odunze is also often the second or third read behind Burden and tight end Colston Loveland, and Tampa Bay ranks among the tougher defenses against wide receivers by fantasy points allowed. If the game script goes the way the spread implies, with Chicago leading and Williams spreading the ball around, Odunze can easily finish with a quiet three-catch night. Treat it as a modest lean, not a lock.

Emeka Egbuka Over 50.5 Receiving Yards: The Game-Time Gamble

Now for the wild card. Emeka Egbuka has missed two straight games with foot and concussion issues, and he is listed as questionable with head coach Todd Bowles calling him a game-time decision. The encouraging sign is that Egbuka took full practice reps on both Thursday and Friday after sitting out Wednesday. The line sits at 50.5 at ESPN, up from an opener of 46.5 earlier in the week as his outlook improved.

When he is on the field, Egbuka is the Buccaneers’ top wideout. He leads the team with 28 catches on 49 targets and two touchdowns, and his 240 yards rank second on the team despite missing those two games. Tampa Bay has won two straight with a run-heavy approach, including a 16-0 win over Atlanta in a downpour where the Bucs threw only three passes. That plan is unlikely to repeat against a Bears team favored at home, and with Baker Mayfield expected to throw more, Egbuka should see a healthy share of the targets.

The big caveat is simple: this bet only makes sense if Egbuka suits up. Check the inactives about 90 minutes before kickoff, and if he is ruled out, skip it entirely, or pivot to Chris Godwin Jr. instead, who is expected to pick up extra work in that case.
