After a week off, we're finally back to the octagon for UFC Fight Night. Grant Dawson will take on Bobby Green in the Main Event, which should make for an interesting tassle.
We've dug into the entire card and found 6 best bets for this event on Saturday, October 7. The live odds and our best bets for UFC Fight Night can be found below!
Cutelba had been on a 3-fight losing streak before knocking out Tanner Boser in 2 minutes during his last fight. That was his 13 KO/TKO victory of his career and he is looking to get back-to-back wins for the 1st time since 2018.
He faces Philipe Lins here, who is on his own 3-fight win streak after defeating Maxim Grishin by unanimous decision back in June. Both men can stand and strike but Cutelba has a wrestling background on top of good striking.
He is also younger by almost 10 years. Philipe has only faced 4 total take down attempts in his career in the UFC which could be a problem here against Cutelba.
Murata is coming off the 2nd loss of her career and Mendonca is coming off his 2nd career loss. Both fighters are amped to get back in the octagon and get back to their winning ways.
Murata faces Vanessa Demopoulos, who is just had her 3-fight winning streak snapped back in May. Mendonca faces Nate Maness, who is on back-to-back losses to Umar Nurmagomedov and Tagir Ulanbekov.
Both Murata and Mandonca have the youth advantage and we believe will come out on top here in these matchups.
The 12-6 Aldrich has won 3 of her last 5 fights and just defeated Liang Li to avoid a losing streak via KO/TKO.
She gets Montana De La Rosa, who has only won once in her last 5 fights. She is of a BJJ background but has had trouble getting her opponents to the mat and controlling them recently.
Aldrich is strong at avoiding takedowns and is a very dangerous striker. Forcing this matchup to be a standup contest will favor Aldrich here in this one.
Dawson has won 11 of his last 12 with one draw. 6 of those victories have come via submission. He faces Bobby Green here, who is 2-2-1 in his last 5 fights. Both of those losses came via KO/TKO.
Now, in this matchup, it will be an interesting clash of styles. Dawson would prefer to get this one to the ground where Bobby wants to stand and strike.
Bobby has a good takedown defense which is going to frustrate Dawson a bit but at the end of the day, he should be able to get him down a few times which will be enough to get a decision victory.
Pyfer has won 4 straight fights with all 4 coming via KO/TKO and none have reached the 3rd round. He has some of the strongest boxing skills in the division and can put anyone down he faces.
He gets Abdul Razak Alhassan here, who has won 2 of his last 5. Both of those wins were via TKO/KO inside the 1st 30 seconds of his fights. This one could be extremely short but extremely exciting.
We expect Pyfer to use his superior boxing skills here to put Alhassan away last in the 1st.
Dober is coming off a bad loss to Frevola in May after defeating McKinney, Alves, and Green during a 3-fight win streak. Here, he gets Ricky Glenn who is in over his head in this matchup.
Dober should be able to completely pick a part Glenn in this one. Buckley is our other half of the parlay and is coming off an impressive win over Andre Fialho.
He is looking to continue his winning in the welterweight division against Alex Morono. We like this parlay quite a bit! Good luck!
