The UFC has been rolling with tons of great cards throughout 2025. Last weekend, we saw some good action in Des Moines, Iowa, with a UFC Fight Night. Now, we have an amazing card going down on Saturday night in Montreal.
Today, I will break down my 3 favorite bets for this weekend’s fight card. Let’s get into it!
This should be a fun one between two solid UFC Vets. Bukauskas is 4-1 in his return to the UFC after Khalil Roundtree blew his knee out in 2021 on the tail end of a 3-fight losing streak. He will now take on Ion Cutelaba, who is known for creating action in his fights. Cutelaba has a UFC record of 8-9-1, and a lot of that is due to his all-out fight style.
This fight should be a stand-up battle. Both of these guys specialize in striking, with each owning 10+ Professional KOs. Both of these fighters are coming into this fight on two-fight win streaks, so we should be in for a fun one. I’m not sure this fight will go the distance.
For Bukauskas, 40% of his wins and 75% of his losses have come by KO/TKO in the UFC. For Cutelaba, 50% of his wins have come by KO/TKO, while 77% of his losses have come by KO/TKO or Sub. I think Bukauskas will get the better of the exchanges on the feet, so I am rolling with him to go home with the W. Not going to take the KO/TKO line just because he is still even money.
MY PICK: Modestas Bukauskas +100
This is a very exciting fight for the women’s Flyweight division. Grasso is a former champ but is coming off a loss in the rubber match to Valentina Schevchenko. She now will face a rising star in Natalia Silva, who is 6-0 in her UFC career.
Her last two fights have been impressive wins over Viviane Araujo and Jessica Andrade, but this will be her first test against a championship-level fighter. In my eyes, Grasso has an advantage here. Her last 3 fights were all against Valentina, who is one of the all-time greats. That experience trumps anything.
I think Silva will push the pace early and try to break up Grasso’s rhythm, but the veteran will certainly get her bearings and figure her out as the fight goes on. I also think it is insane that we are getting the former champ fresh off a championship loss as a +220 dog, so I am riding.
MY PICK: Alexa Grasso +220
Belal will defend his belt for the first time this weekend in what will be a fun fight. JDM is as tough as they come and is arguably one of the best boxers in the 170-pound division. This is certainly a clash of style kind of fight.
Belal is a relentless grappler who is going to push the pace, while JDM is mainly a stand-up fighter. Both of these guys are on insanely impressive win streaks, so this should be a fun one between two guys who aren’t used to losing. I think JDM has a chance to win this fight if it stays on their feet, but I really don’t think he’ll have that chance.
I think Belal is going to drag him into the deep waters and truly see if he has 5 rounds of championship fighting in his bag. Say what you will about Belal’s “boring” fight style, the guy wins, and he usually dominates on his way to those wins. I think the champ gets it done by decision, as usual.
MY PICK: Belal Muhammad by Decision -115
