UFC 310 Guide Odds, Predictions, and Best Bets for Saturday

UFC 310 is the final PPV event for 2024, and there are several great bouts to look forward to. Alexandre Pantoja will defend his belt against the exciting Kai Asakura, while Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Gary will lock horns for Welterweight supremacy.

With 14 matches on the card, there are many bet options to explore. However, two particular picks appear to be obvious winners. Their results can only go one way, bar some unexpected miracle.
These two events are in the main cards:

  • Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov - Heavyweight
  • Nate Landwehr vs. Doo Ho Choi - Featherweight

Here are our summarized best bets for both matches:

  • Ciryl Gane to win and the fight to go over 2.5 rounds
  • Landwehr vs Choi to conclude under 2.5 rounds

Ciryl Gane to Win and Fight to Go Over 2.5 Rounds: Match Analysis

While Gane’s loss against Jon Jones last year has shadowed his recent exploits, the Frenchman remains one of the best striking heavyweights in the brand. His biggest bane has always been his questionable grappling skills, which a very experienced Jones capitalized on.

However, Gane has revitalized his fearsome reputation since that match, notably putting the exciting Serghei Spivac to sleep several months after.

Gane's wrestling and grappling will be much better in this fight with Alexander Volkov. Even if that is not the case, we do not see how the aging Russian can successfully defend himself against the Frenchman's hammer punches.

Volkov is a Tough Opponent

Volkov is the ultimate gatekeeper of the heavyweight division, and the man any fighter hoping to become a champion must pass through. However, we doubt that he would do much to close the gates against Gane, who already bested him once in their June 2021 fight.

Since then, the Russian veteran striker has only become slower, while Gane has ascended in the heavyweight power ranking. We just don’t see a way for Volkov against the Frenchman. He has a great chance of covering the entire round, though.

Verdict: A Win for Ciryl Gane and the fight to go past two rounds. The average moneyline for this pick across top sportsbooks is -145.

Landwehr vs Choi to Conclude Under 2.5 Rounds: Match Analysis

Landwehr always brings the violence, and at 36, he has not slowed down even a little. He loves to hit his opponents in the head and never backs himself into a corner to kill time.

This man loves to fight as much as he enjoys thrilling fans. Fortunately, his rival, Doo Hoo Choi, is the perfect twin when it comes to enthusiasm and striking.

Choi's Bravery Helps Our Case for the Under

Choi can strike and strike hard, making him the perfect match for the hungry Landwehr. ‘The Korean Superboy’ will not be intimidated and will attempt to fight Landwehr in the middle of the octagon.

We would love to see how the older battle-tested vet avoids the devastating Korean left hook, but one thing is clear: Someone will likely go to sleep before the third round.

Verdict: With two super offensive strikers seeking blood, it is quite risky to choose a straight winner. One good hit is all it takes, and we believe a couple of these will be flying the early rounds. So, we will settle for an under-2.5-round pick. The average odds for this is -160 in major sportsbooks.
