UFC 309 Odds, Predictions, and Best Bets for November 16

UFC 309 is right around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited! Our fight expert has released his best bets for Jones vs. Miocic in this betting guide. Check them out below! Good luck!

Main Event Play: Jon Jones by KO/TKO/DQ or Sub (-250)

It has been 2 and a half years since Stipe has been in the octagon. That was a KO loss to Frances Ngannou. For Jon Jones, it has been a little over a year since his last fight which was a submission victory over Ciryl Gane where he won the vacated heavyweight title.

Stipe is 42 and is not going to have anything close to what he had 3-5 years ago when he was still at the latter stage of his prime. Jone Jones will dismantle him in this main event and pick up a finish victory.

We don’t see Stipe making it past a 3rd round and while this play is juiced, we believe it is well worth the price.

Main Card Top Finish Play: Charles Oliveira by Sub (+155)

Chandler has been on the shelf since November 2022 after he was submitted by Dustin Poirier. He had been lined up to face McGregor but that kept falling through and is now facing one of the best submission experts of all time in the sport.

Oliveira is coming off a split-decision loss to Arman Tsarukyan, who is on a trajectory to a title shot. Charles has a habit of submitting guys who love to stand and strike (Poirier and Gaethje) and that is likely what he will get here with Chandler.

Prelim Top Play: Jim Miller (+145)

Jim Miller is one of the all-time toughest fighters ever in the UFC. He has won 3 of his last 5 fights but is coming off a unanimous decision loss to King Green, who is one of the best boxers in the division.

Here, he gets Damon Jackson, who is coming off an ugly fight with Chepe Mariscal where he was completely outclassed on the feet and ground. We believe Miller will use his experience to his advantage and pick apart Jackson on the feet, and if things go to the ground, Miller knows his way around there with 20 career submission victories.

Other Leans for All Remaining Fights

  • Bassil Hafez (+175)
  • Mickey Gall (-135)
  • Marcin Tybura (-125)
  • Chris Weidman (+115)
  • Jonathan Martinez (+115)
