UFC 308 Odds, Predictions, and Best Bets

Fight fans will be treated to one of the best cards in quite a while at UFC 308, which gets underway on Saturday, October 26. If you need help betting on this iconic event, you've come to the right place!

Our betting preview below includes odds, predictions, and some best bets. Good luck with all of your action! This one should be fun, folks!

Main Event Play: Ilia Topuria/Over 1.5 Rounds (-105)

It is crazy to see that the shortest offs in terms of Topuria’s method of victory being a KO/TKO finish. Max has never been KO/TKO’d in his entire career.

While we have heard the verbal jabbing about pointing to the ground inside the 1st minute and both men being willing to throw, we just do not foresee that happening.

Both men have strong chins and neither have been finished except for a submission loss by Max back in 2012 to Poirier. We believe Topuria is the more skilled and stronger fight right now and will get ultimately get the victory in this one.

Main Card Top Underdog Play: Armen Petrosyan (+140)

This line has continually dropped off over the last few days. That is what initially piqued our interest.

Petrosyan is not someone who is going to light the world on fire but might have enough here to pull off the 1st victory over Shara Magomedov.

If we can avoid getting his legs chopped down, he has the striking that could be enough to get Shara in trouble and likely get to a decision.

Main Card Top Parlay Play: Ankalaev/Chimaev (-130)

Mahomed Ankalaev faces Aleksander Rakic who has lost 3 of his last 5 fights, including his last 2. Ankalaev has his sights set on a title shot and will need to run through Rakic here, which we believe he will do.

Now, for the other leg of this parlay, we are preaching caution. Before submitting this slip, we would like to wait until weigh-in to see how each fighter is dealing with the weight cuts. Both Whittaker and Chimaev have had their issues over the last couple of years with cutting weight.

If everything is even and both men seem good at weigh-in, we like Chimaev to get this victory rather easily. Whittaker still has the power and ability, but we know Chimaev can easily match that and with he not being able to fight since over a year ago, he should be focused on putting on a dominate show in this one.

Other Leans for All Remaining Fights

  • Dan Ige (+235)
  • Geoff Neal (-285)
  • Abus Magomedov (-140)
  • Kennedy Nzechukwu by KO/TKO (-200)
  • Bruno Silva (+145)
  • Ibo Aslan (-105)
