Our Best Bets for UFC Fight Night (Hermansson vs. Pyfer)

We get that it's Super Bowl weekend and most of the focus will be on Niners vs. Chiefs. However, don't forget about UFC Fight Night on Saturday, February 10. The main event will feature Jack Hermansson taking on Joe Pyfer in Las Vegas.

Need help betting UFC Fight Night? We've got what you need! We've dug into the entire fight card to bring you our 3 best bets. Best of luck with all of your wagers this weekend!

Main Event Play: Joe Pyfer by KO/TKO/DQ (+100)

Pyfer may be the most confident fighter in the UFC and for good reason. He is on a 5-fight winning streak with 4 of them coming by KO/TKO and his latest by submission.

Fighting out of Philly, Pyfer has not grabbed the attention of most UFC casuals the way Sean Brady has but after this fight, we believe he will be in the mix for a contender fight. He is facing Jack Hermansson who has lost 3 of his last 5 fights and is entering the final phase of his career.

Herm has been knocked out in 3 of his losses and his latest fight was a loss via KO to Roman Dolidze. We expect the same outcome here with a motivated Pyfer finishing him early.

Top Prop Play: Tavares/Rodrigues Winning Method KO/TKO/DQ (+120)

Both guys have absolute fire in their fists and can put the others lights out with a single strike. In 5 of his last 14 fights, Tavares has either won by KO or been finished by KO.

For Rodrigues, 9 of his 14 wins and 3 of his 5 losses have come via KO/TKO. We expect both fighters to feel each other out early and look for how they want to enter and begin exchanging.

If one decides to empty the gas tank early, he will either get the finish or have nothing left and be susceptible to the KO.

Main Card Top Play: Jeremiah Wells (-150)

Wells was on a 6-fight winning streak before his submission loss to Carlston Harris back in August. He faces Max Griffin who has lost 6 of his last 11 fights.

At 19-10, Griffin has some bad losses on his record, but he has only lost once by a finish. It may be worth sprinkling a little on Wells by Decision at plus money.

Other Leans

Want a little bit of extra action for Fight Night? The following 3 plays all have some mathematical value, but they just missed making our best bets card. Each is worth a quarter-unit sprinkle.

  • Marcin Prachnio (+190)
  • Michael Johnson (-130)
  • Ihor Potieria (+140)
