Premier League Odds and Best Bets for January 18 and 19

Today, we’ll reveal the opening odds and two best bets below for the Premier League matches on Sunday, January 18th, and Monday, January 19th. Let’s get into it!

Newcastle (-135) at Wolves (+350) Sunday 9:00 AM – Draw Odds (+310)

Wolves have looked improved over their last three matches, with two draws and their first win on the season, with a 3-0 victory over West Ham. However, they are catching a Newcastle team that is hot, scoring 9 goals over their last three games.

Wolves may be looking like a better team as of late, but they still have been very poor defensively, which makes me think Newcastle should have an edge in this one.

Everton (+400) at Aston Villa (-150) Sunday 11:30 AM – Draw Odds (+290)

Aston Villa’s impressive season looks to continue this weekend as they host an Everton side that has been struggling lately. With just one win in their last five league games, Everton is looking for something to get some momentum on their side.

However, this may not be the game for it to happen. Villa is undefeated in the last five meetings between these sides, and they have been rolling with just one loss, to first-place Arsenal, in their last five league games. These haven’t been very high-scoring matches historically, but I think Villa will do enough to get the win.

Bournemouth (+270) at Brighton (-115) Monday 3:00 PM – Draw Odds (+290)

Brighton should have some confidence coming into this one, as Bournemouth hasn’t looked great this season. Currently sitting 15th in the league, Bournemouth is surely looking to pick up some points on the road.

Both of these teams have been weak defensively, and Bournemouth has been a team whose games always end up being very high scoring, with 4+ goals being scored in four of their last five league games. Brighton is solid offensively and should be able to pull out a win even if this turns into a shootout.

Best Bet: Newcastle (-135) at Wolves

I would take Newcastle with a spread, but Wolves have been playing better lately, so we’ll play it safe. Newcastle should handle business here pretty easily.

Best Bet: Bournemouth at Brighton Over 3.5 Total Goals (+120)

Bournemouth has provided some of the highest-scoring games so far this season. Matching that with a solid Brighton offense and some real urgency for points from Bournemouth, I like the odds a lot.
