Rush Street Interactive and BetRivers are off to a great start this second quarter as the casino operators are set to launch Michigan’s most exciting online slot tournament. Since its foray into the Michigan iGaming space, BetRivers has established itself as one of the most reputable online casinos for players in the Great Lakes State. It stands in fourth place on the list of operators with the highest lifetime iGaming revenue in Michigan.
Throughout April, BetRivers will be kicking off the Michigan Million™ Online Slot Tournament, an exclusive slot tourney for Michiganders. Players stand a chance to compete for a share of the $1 million bonus money or scoop the $100,000 grand prize.
At least 400 people will get cash rewards from their participation in what is set to be one of the most financially rewarding slot tournaments ever in the Wolverine state.
“BetRivers is known for bringing first-of-its-kind online casino experiences to our customers, and we couldn’t be more excited to launch Michigan’s most exciting online slot tournament ever,” said Richard Schwartz, CEO of Rush Street Interactive. “With BetRivers Michigan Million, you get all the excitement of a real-world slot tournament and the chance to win part of $1 million in guaranteed bonus money from the comfort of home.”
The tournament starts April 1, 2023, and will run into mid-May. Interested gamblers will play the Cash Machine™ slot, and every winning spin will allow players to climb up a leaderboard for a chance to qualify for the tournament’s next stage.
As with all other BetRivers promotions and tournaments, only Michigan players aged 21 and above will be eligible to join the tournament.
There are three stages in the Michigan Million tournament, with the first being the qualifying round. Players can enter the tournament any time between April 1 and April 30 by simply making a one-time deposit of $50 or more with the promo code “MILLION.” Eligible gamblers will immediately receive 100 tournament spins that must be spent on the Cash Machine slot within the qualifying period.
Players who claim loyalty points during the qualifying period are also eligible to receive extra tournament spins. Those that end the month of April in the top 400 on the tournament leaderboard will advance to the Semi-Final round.
The top 400 players making it to the semi-final round will receive 200 tournament spins to be spent on the tournament slot between May 5 and May 6, 2023. At the end of the round, the top 10 players on the leaderboard will advance to the final round. Other semi-finalists will get $1,500 in bonus money from the $1 million prize pool.
All finalists will compete against each other in a 10-minute live online event to be held on Monday, May 15, 2023. Players will receive unlimited spins to play Cash Machine. The best player at the end of the live final round will go home with the coveted $100,000 bonus money grand prize. Other finalists will receive $35,000 in bonus cash.
John Mason has been selected to host the live event on May 15. Mason, who is currently an announcer for the Detroit Pistons, has a very long history with BetRivers Michigan. He was the first person to place a legal wager on the BetRivers Sportsbook after the operator got its license.
"Players in Michigan have never seen a slot tournament like this before," said Mason. "I've been connected to the brand since the launch and am thrilled to be part of the BetRivers Michigan Million Online Slot Tournament. I can't wait to see 400 Michiganders win their share of the $1 million bonus money prize pool."
Regular bonus money restrictions will apply to the BetRivers Michigan Million Tournament. Interested players should visit the promotional page for more terms and conditions of the tournament.
