The Dallas Stars and Edmonton Oilers are gearing up for Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals tonight. Both teams have played well to this point, but it’s the Stars that have a slight edge to this point, as they are up 2-1 in the series.
Will the Oilers find a way to even the score? Or will it be the Stars that strike again tonight to take a commanding 3-1 lead?
We’re excited to watch it all play out tonight and have put together a few of our favorite betting plays to go along with the action. Without further fanfare or delay, here are our best bets and player props from this game!
Dallas Stars Moneyline (+115)
You’re telling us that we can get the red-hot Stars at plus money tonight? Sign us up! After inevitably losing Game 1 of the series, the Stars have come out firing, winning the last two games.
They won Game 2 with a score of 3-1 and won Game 3 with a 5-3 outcome. This is a team that seems to have figured out their identity at the right time, and we’re riding with them tonight.
Total Goals OVER 5.5 (-124)
This series has only reached more than six goals once, which happened in Game 3. While some people might lean towards the under, we’re fully embracing a scoring barrage tonight.
It might not be a crazy 6-5 game by any means, but there’s a pretty good chance these teams will combine for six, seven, or eight goals tonight. Let’s bet on a lot of goals being scored!
Jake Oettinger OVER 27.5 Saves
Tonight doesn’t seem to be the night to bet against Jake Oettinger. Oettinger is one of the best young goalies in the NHL, and he has been a continued bright spot for the Stars.
He has averaged 30 saves per game throughout the series, and with a lot on the line, we’re going back to the well here. There might be a lot of shots taken tonight, and Oettinger might let in two or three goals, but that doesn’t mean that he can’t have a big game between the posts.
Connor McDavid OVER 3.5 Shots (1.1 X Boost, Underdog)
If the Oilers want any chance of winning this game, they’ll need a big night from Connor McDavid. McDavid was the hero of Game 1, netting a goal in the second overtime period.
He had six shots in the Oilers’ Game 3 loss, an indication of how many shots he can rifle off when needed. The Oilers are counting on their star to deliver tonight, and so are we.
