We’re hoping that this trend of overtime games continues, starting with Game 3 tonight. Without further ado, let’s get into our favorite player props from the action, all of which can be found on Underdog!

Sergei Bobrovsky OVER 2.5 Goals Against

This series has been a dogfight. Sergei Bobrovsky was one of the best goalies in the NHL during the regular season, and many people expected him to shut the Oilers down throughout this series.

However, it’s been a war of attrition thus far, as both offenses have been on fire, which has left both Bobrovsky and Stuart Skinner exposed in the net. Bobrovsky is a great goaltender, but he’ll be no match for the Edmonton offense again in this one, allowing at least three goals in the third straight game.

Brad Marchand OVER 1.5 Shots on Goal

Boston Bruins fans were devastated when Brad Marchand was traded to the Panthers, and rightfully so. Marchand has been a force to be reckoned with since he joined the Panthers, especially in the playoffs and the Cup finals.

He had two goals in Game 2 and one in Game 1, firing at will to try and break Skinner down. We fully anticipate this trend to continue tonight, which is why we’re taking the over on his SOG line. It’s worth a sprinkle at over 3.5 if you’re so daring, and Underdog will reward you with a great odds boost.

Connor McDavid OVER 1.5 Points

Speaking of riding trends, Connor McDavid is riding a five-game streak where he’s had at least two points. This isn’t anything new for the young sensation, who has been among the best players in the NHL since he was drafted.

The Oilers might not win every game, but with McDavid on the ice, they at least have a great chance to win every game, and defenses can’t seem to find an answer for him. We’re going to take the over on his points line until further notice, as he’s just playing too well to fade at the moment.
