The Panthers entered this postseason matchup with center Carter Verhaeghe leading the team in goals scored. The first game of the Stanely Cup finals looked like Verhaeghe would continue his torrid postseason touch as the 6-foot-2 center pushed through a goal for a team-best 10 this postseason.

Edmonton Oilers’ Connor McDavid To Record A Point (-500)
The NHL’s regular season leader in assists finally returned to form after a poor start to the Stanely Cup Finals. In his first two games against the Panthers, Oilers center Connor McDavid contributed one point – an assist – in the team’s combined 7-1 losses to Florida.
Since then, McDavid has scored six points for Edmonton on one goal and five assists to lead the offense to a significantly better performance for the Oilers. Expect the 27-year-old center will push through at least one assist tonight on Tuesday to cover this player prop bet.

Florida Panthers’ Sergei Bobrovsky OVER 25.5 Saves
Florida goalie Sergei Bobrovsky had been strong through the team’s first three Stanley Cup Final games, holding the Oilers to four goals in two games and a shutout to start the series. The Panthers’ veteran goalie had recorded more than 30 saves in two of those three contests.
On Saturday, Bobrovsky was pulled in the second period after he yielded five goals in less than 25 minutes of work. Don’t expect that to be repeated as the 35-year-old will recover from his poor performance and record at least 25 saves on Tuesday to cover this player prop bet.

Oddsmakers believe that Edmonton will lose this game, making them underdogs against Florida at home. The Panthers are 8-3 at home during the postseason, giving oddsmakers a good reason to make them significant betting favorites.
But watching Game 4 on Saturday, the Oilers showed life with their backs up against the wall. Edmonton looked formidable against one of the league’s best defenses, and the Oilers showed the reason this team made the Stanley Cup Finals in the first place.
