Oilers at Canucks Betting Preview: 2 Best Bets and a Player Prop for Game 7

Tonight is the night for Game 7 between the Vancouver Canucks and the Edmonton Oilers. This has been a fantastic series to this point, and we’re excited to see it culminate in a great Game 7. Both teams have been primed for this moment, so it will be interesting and exciting to see how it all goes down.

Edmonton Oilers Moneyline (-160)

This series has truly been a back-and-forth affair. These teams can’t seem to win back-to-back games, which might indicate that this is the Canucks’ game to lose.

However, we liked what we saw from the Oilers in Game 6, taking a commanding 5-1 lead. With that in mind, we love the Oilers’ chances to get out to an early lead in this one, which is why we’re taking their moneyline in this spot.

Over 5.5 Total Goals (-120)

We were surprised to see that most books had this line set at 5.5 goals, we expected it to be closer to 6 or even 6.5. While there have been two games in this series that have gone under this total, the other four have achieved at least six goals.

With this in mind, we had to take the over in what could be a high-scoring affair in a must-win contest.

Arturs Silvos OVER 26.5 Saves

This is an interesting game to predict, especially on the goalie side of things. The Oilers have been very spotty with their on-target attempts throughout the series, seeing how Silvos only had 14 saves in Game 2 and 21 and 22 in Games 5 and 6.

However, he did have 42 in Game 4, and 27 in both Games 3 and 4. With that in mind, we’re expecting this game to be a high scoring affair, which is why we’re going with Silvos to have at least 27 saves in this game, the only player prop we’re confident in.
