The 5-1 Minnesota Vikings travel to Los Angeles to take on the 2-4 Rams in what could be the season debut for T.J. Hockenson and the much-anticipated return of Cooper Kupp to the Rams offense.

T.J. Hockenson | Over 37.5 Reception Yards | |
T.J. Hockenson | Under 38.5 Reception Yards |
In his first game back since the devastating injury last season, T.J. Hockenson is a key factor for Sam Darnold’s success and that will show up on the stat sheet this week.
Should Hockenson get the questionable tag lifted from his status and play, he’ll be facing a Rams defense that has given up the 3rd most YPG and touchdowns per game to tight ends.
In an away primetime matchup, the tight end will be Sam Darnold’s best friend and if it is Hockenson, 27.5 yards is too low of a prop to ignore.

Jordan Addison | Yes Anytime Touchdown Scorer |
One touchdown prop we are targeting tonight is Jordan Addison’s. The Vikings 2nd-year wideout has only scored twice (both in the same game) this season, but against a Los Angeles defense that will look to double Justin Jefferson in the red zone area, Addison should take advantage of his 1v1 opportunities.
The Rams have allowed over one touchdown per contest to opposing wide receivers and are prone to losing 2nd options in coverage. Tucker Kraft, DJ Moore, and Jauan Jennings all scored on the Rams defense pre-bye-week.
Williams is still the Rams workhorse heading into this Week 8 matchup but might struggle to make an impact in the receiving game.
Kyren has only caught the rock once over the last two games while rookie Blake Corum could be seeing more snaps out of the backfield post Rams bye week.
I think Brian Flores will key in on Williams and ensure that his touches go for little gain as he is the key piece for this Los Angeles offense to get in the flow.
Cooper Kupp has a rollercoaster ride of a season thus far. First off, Kupp started the year with a 21-target, 14-catch game against the Lions before injuring himself in the next game, ruling him out for the next four weeks.
On top of this, Kupp has now been linked to trade talks as the Rams rethink their tough situation as they sit at 2-4 on the year. With the WR1 almost being available to play this past Sunday, I believe he’ll be running close to 100% which should give Stafford more than enough confidence to get him 10+ targets in his first game back.
Without Nacua nor a true WR3 option, look for McVay to get his star involved in the short passing game early before unleashing him on 1v1 opportunities.
