Super Bowl LIX Props Guide 3 Plays for Eagles vs. Chiefs

Super Bowl 59 is here and as we head to New Orleans Caesar’s Dome, we get a rematch from 2 years ago. Not only does things bring out even more storylines and drama, but we also get a possible story of Revenge vs the Three-Peat.

Will Mahomes be magic one more time, or will the Eagles avenge that loss in a thrilling game that saw over 70 points? I assume the public will be on the over points in this one, and perhaps I am on an island here, but I love what both defenses bring to this game, and I can certainly see a game in the mid-20s! Enjoy the game, everyone!

Perine Seems to Find a Way

This was a play I was going to play last week, and for whatever reason, moved off it. I am going to go back to it here because the data is just too good. Samaje Perine has cashed 6.5, and 7.5, which is the consensus number on most books, in 14 of his last 15 days. In those 14 games, he went over 10 in 13 of them.

He cashed 16 out of 19 games this season, he averages 1.5 receptions on 1.9 targets while averaging around 20% snap% over his last 5 games, averaging around 25% for the season. While I expect the Eagles to focus on keeping explosives down in this game, they will allow a ton in front of them.

Whether the Chiefs players can make the Eagles miss tackles and make plays in the open field is the question. I like him to find 1-2 opportunities in this one and that's all it usually takes!

Can The Eagles Offense Play Keep Away?

I am expecting Hurts and Company to move the ball methodically in this game, draining time of possession and keeping the ball away from the game's best. The Chiefs have a style of defense that could just play into that game script as well. They are usually bend, don’t break, they are very sound tacklers and when they hit you, you feel it.

I expect both this game to see a lot of 3rd down plays and conversions, which is going to drag out the time. The Eagles defense? They have held 15 of their last 16 opponents under 23 points. The last time they played the Chiefs, they had 17. This Eagles defense is much different than that first Super Bowl meeting.

The Eagles allowed just 18 points per game this season and just went up against one of the most dynamic offenses and playmakers in Daniels and held them under this line. I don’t expect Mahomes to go off for 250+ passing yards here, the Eagles will limit the explosiveness, and the Chiefs will have to take small chunks to move the ball in this game.
