Week 17 of the NFL Season is officially here, and we’ve already had two games go down. Unfortunately for fans watching on Christmas Day, both games were blowouts, so we haven’t exactly seen the highest quality of football thus far.
We’re hoping for a much better, much closer matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Chicago Bears tonight! The Seahawks are hoping to stay in the playoff hunt, while the Bears are fighting for some self-preservation in Caleb Williams’ rookie season. Who will come out on top?
As we will be tuning in to find out, we thought we’d make the action a bit more fun and put together our favorite player props from this one, all of which can be found at various online sportsbooks. Let’s get to it!
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is a freak of nature. He has been the prince that was promised for the Seahawks this season, coming alive after a rather lackluster rookie campaign in 2023.
JSN has logged 74+ yards in seven straight games, and it doesn’t make sense to fade him against a lowly Bears defense tonight. While his hot streak might come to an end at some point, we’re not picking tonight for him to lay an egg.
If you only looked at the Bears’ record this year, you might think that Caleb Williams is having a down or even bad rookie campaign. While he hasn’t quite lived up to the hype of the No. 1 overall pick, he has thrown 3,271 yards to this point, which is nothing to sneeze at.
He played well against the Detroit Lions last week, nearly totaling 340 passing yards, showing fans that he can put up big numbers when given the opportunity. With that in mind, we’re banking on Williams to have another strong performance in this game, taking the over on his passing yardage prop.
Kenneth Walker is out tonight, so we are HAMMERING the over on Zach Charbonnet’s rushing props. Charbonnet has been a force to be reckoned with when Walker has been out this season, and a great RB1 option in fantasy when given the opportunity.
The Seahawks love giving the rock to their No. 1 back, and if the Seahawks get ahead early, they could give Charbonnet the ball a lot. We believe he could have close to 100 yards on the ground tonight, making the over on 68.5 an easy decision.
