Ravens at Jaguars - Our Player Prop Picks for Sunday Night Football

Two of the AFC’s top teams will take the Sunday night spotlight this week after Dallas and Philadelphia tested their mettle in front of a national audience in Week 14.

The Jaguars have not appeared on NBC’s flagship football broadcast since 2008 and have received the fewest SNF invites of any NFL team, with 11 since they were founded in 1995. On the other hand, the Ravens will play a Sunday night game for the second time in the last month and have done so 33 times since their establishment a year after the Jags.

These teams played last year in Jacksonville in late November under different circumstances. The home team was coming off a bye week following a 3-7 start to their season with not much going for them when Baltimore came to town looking to extend their 7-3 record. The Jags sent the Ravens packing with a one-point loss thanks to 18 points in the fourth quarter, a dazzling catch from Marvin Jones Jr. with 14 seconds left, and a two-point conversion to Zay Jones, which put Jacksonville ahead for good.

In this latest matchup, Baltimore is favored by three points on the road, and the total has jumped up a field goal to 42.5. Jacksonville is 0-2 SU and ATS as a home dog this year and is looking to end a two-game skid after beginning the season 8-3.

• Jacksonville is 4th in rush defense, 11th in yards per carry defensively, and has held opponents under 100 yards rushing in three of their last four games.
• The Jags are ninth in passing offense and 31st in passing defense. Gameplan usually dictates a lot of throwing when the Jaguars play, and they have the eighth-highest average margin of points scored above the over/under in the NFL.
• Jacksonville has the sixth-best opponent third-down conversion rate on defense and holds teams to 5.5 plays per drive in 2023, the second-best mark among all teams.
• Mitchell has relied on big plays to support higher yardage totals from a small number of carries. He’s averaging 8.5 yards per carry on 38 attempts this season.

• Washington's snap count on offense has risen exponentially in the last two weeks. He's reached 41+ snaps in back-to-back games after seeing just 12 in the three other times he's dressed during his rookie year.
• During this period of increased playing time, Washington has seen nine targets and snagged eight of them, including some nice contested grabs, in his two-week emergence within the Jacksonville offense.
• The Ravens gave up 282 passing yards to the Rams last week, the most yards they've allowed in the 2023 season.
• Baltimore allows the fewest yards per pass attempt in the league and is fourth in passing defense overall. We're avoiding Washington's yardage total as a result.
