The NFL playoffs are kicking off this weekend, marking an incredible weekend in the football world. College Football semifinals are going down on Thursday and Friday, and the NFL’s slate runs from Saturday afternoon until Monday evening.
There are so many great games scheduled, so we’re looking forward to kicking back, relaxing, and taking in some fantastic performances. With that in mind, we’ve got you covered with some of the top Underdog player props from each game, starting with Saturday night’s battle between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.
They split their regular-season meetings, so it’s only fitting that the season-long rubber match is taking place in the first round of the playoffs. Let’s get into it!
Jordan Love OVER 223.5 Passing Yards
Jordan Love hasn’t played in an NFL game since December 20th, ironically, a game where his Packers lost to the Bears in overtime. He got injured early in that game and didn’t return, and with the team’s playoff spot locked up in Week 18, the Packers didn’t take their chances and rush him back to the field last week.
Some people are thinking that he’s going to be rusty and have a down game, but we’re going the opposite direction. Not only does this game have the makings of a shootout, but it’s Toyotathon, and we all know what Love is capable of during this time of year. We’re not shying away from the over on his passing total here.
Caleb Williams OVER 209.5 Passing Yards
We were surprised to see how low Caleb Williams’ passing yardage total was for this game, especially looking at his past several contests. Williams hasn’t had fewer than 212 yards in a game since December 12th.
With the Bears constantly playing from behind late in games, he’ll likely need to throw a lot in this one. The Packers’ defense is strong, but Williams should be able to overcome that with a performance north of 210 yards.
Colston Loveland OVER 42.5 Receiving Yards
Colston Loveland is having a spectacular rookie campaign. The chemistry between him and Williams is palpable on the field, and this offense has greatly benefited from their connection.
Loveland has exploded over the past two weeks, having 90+ yards in each contest, a sign that Williams likes to look his way a lot. While we’re not expecting him to have 90+ in this one as well, it seems likely that, with the pass volume we’re projecting, Loveland should have at least 50, so we’ll ride with his line in this must-win game.
