NFC East Preview 4 Season Win Totals for 2025

The Philadelphia Eagles not only won the division and represented the NFC in the Super Bowl, but they got the job done there and defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in impressive fashion. They look to get back to the big game but have some stiff competition within their own division.

Here is where the teams of the NFC East finished last year, and we will dive into what we expect from these teams this season.

Philadelphia Eagles Over/Under WINS: 11.5

The Eagles are arguably the most complete team coming into this season. While a drop off is a little expected with how much they seemingly overperformed last year, we do not think it will be too extreme.

The secondary has some question marks with the loss of Darius Slay, but the superior defensive line should be able to help whoever is plugged into that spot grow as the season goes on. Offensively, this team should put up big numbers again, but the schedule is brutal. We like them to compete deep into the postseason again, but the total here is just a tick too high for us.

The pick: UNDER 11.5 and Division Winner -135

Washington Commanders Over/Under WINS: 9.5

The Commanders were impressive last year, as we saw the growth of Jayden Daniels and a defense that was able to play just good enough at times. That part of the team is going to need to jump up from 17th in yards allowed per game if they are going to compete with the top tier of teams in the league.

Terry McLaurin’s contract dispute has been a distraction, and the trade of Brian Robinson Jr. could cause the offense that finished 7th in ppg last season to start the season slower than expected. The schedule is not an easy one, which is why we like the Commanders to slip a bit this year.

The pick: UNDER 9.5

Dallas Cowboys Over/Under WINS: 8.5

Dallas was a mess last season, and the injury to Dak played a big role. They were looking forward to this year, but with Micah Parsons and Jerry Jones being in the headlines the last 2 months with them being unable to make a deal, the biggest piece of their defense may not be on the field with the season right around the corner.

With the franchise seemingly finding ways to lose and underachieve in new ways every year, why would we expect anything different to come this season? Well, we do not; we are riding their total win under as well.

The pick: UNDER 8.5

New York Giants Over/Under WINS: 5.5

The 6 total wins needed this season would mean the Giants need to double their total wins from last season. That said, we believe it is totally possible. Jaxson Dart brings youth and hope to the offense that needed that after their Daniel Jones era was a complete bust.

He’s got one of the best young receivers in the league with Malik Nabers on the roster, and Tyrone Tracy and Cam Skattebo could be a tough backfield to control. No one is expecting much from the Giants, but we like them in that spot this year. The defense should be better as well with the addition of Abdul Carter through the draft.

The pick: OVER 5.5
