The NFL Week 8’s slate is brimming with any time TD scoring opportunities, so much so we’re adding a bonus selection to our “four sure” picks. Bettors can parlay these picks for our largest underdog odds yet.
Why should you use these selections to bet? Counting last week, we’ve correctly selected 50% of these odds. And with each being underdogs, we’re still over 40% profit margin on our overall selections.
This week, bettors can parlay these five TD scoring bets for odds of +33,211, which means a $50.00 bet would yield $16,655.63 for successful bettors.
The NFL’s top-ranked running QB – Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson – is a one-man show by necessity this season. Jackson has led the Ravens in rushing this season in three separate games and has accumulated 363 rushing yards on 69 carries.
Jackson has also scored five Ravens’ TDs on the ground, the most of any backfield player this season. The Arizona Cardinals have not faced many teams with scrambling QBs this season.
Against the Giants in Week 2, Daniel Jones torched the Cardinals for 59 yards and a rushing TD, the only time a QB has rushed for more than a handful of times against Arizona. Expect Jackson to change that when he scores a running TD Sunday evening.
Commanders WR Terry McLaurin ranks as the team’s best in targets (51), yards (432) and plays of 20+ yards (6). The same held true when Washington faced the Eagles during their Week 5 contest.
In the two teams’ first matchup, McLaurin caught eight of his 10 targets for 86 yards, all of which were team-leading totals. The Eagles are the second-worst defense against WRs, allowing 10 TDs in their seven contests.
In the first game against Philadelphia, WR Jahan Dotson caught four of the nine targets for 27 yards and a score. This game, expect McLaurin to collect his second TD of the season against the Eagles.
While the New York Giants have struggled mightily on offense this season, TE Darren Waller has been anything but a disappointment. The former Las Vegas athlete has caught 35 of 49 targets for 380 yards – all team-leading statistics – as well as one TD in 2023.
The New York Jets are the NFL’s worst defense against TE scoring. Through their first six games, five TDs have been scored by opponents against the Jets.
Expect Waller to add his name to this list Sunday afternoon. The price of more than 3 to 1 is just too good to pass up.
After taking QB C.J. Stroud as their top pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans have turned into a pass-first offense tailored to their rookie signal caller. But that’s not discount how important RBs Dameon Pierce and Devin Singletary have been to Stroud’s development.
Pierce leads the Texans in both yards (281) and carries (97) this season, his second in the league. Pierce also has nine catches for 84 yards on the season. Singletary, meanwhile, fills in nicely for Pierce, notching 153 yards on 39 carries and five receptions for 51 yards. Combined, these two backfield teammates are receiving 40% of the touches for the Texans this year.
Opposing RBs have feasted on Carolina’s running defense this season. Opponents’ backfield players have racked up 13 TDs (11 rushing, 2 receiving) in 6 games, a league-leading figure for defensive futility. Expect both Dameon Pierce and Devin Singletary to have opportunities to score Sunday, possibly parlaying these two picks for +800 odds.
