Eagles at Bucs Our 3 Best Player Prop Bets for MNF

Week 3 of the NFL regular season slate once again concludes with another Monday Night Football doubleheader. In this piece, we're going to focus on the early 7:15 PM Eastern tilt between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Tampa Bay Bucs. At the time of this writing, Philly is listed as a 4.5-point road favorite and the total is sitting at 46 across the board.

The Eagles are 2-0 after taking care of business against the Vikings last week on Thursday Night Football. Much to everyone's surprise, the Bucs are also 2-0 heading into this game. We don't have an opinion on the side or total, but we did find 3 player prop bets that we love. Thanks for reading, and as always, best of luck with all of your bets.

Rachaad White UNDER 47.5 Rushing Yards

I like Rachaad White and he's coming off a nice performance against the Bears in Week 2. That being said, he's likely to have a rough night at the office against this nasty Eagles defensive line. Former Georgia standout Jordan Davis is an absolute beast at stopping the run and we're expecting him to bring White down for a loss on a few occasions.

Philly, as a whole, looks to be much better against the run this season. The Eagles are only giving up 3.4 yards per rush, which ranks 7th in the league. Davis and his former Georgia teammate Jalen Carter may be getting a ton of pub, but don't forget about veteran nose tackle Fletcher Cox, who has made several million dollars by being a good run-stopper in his own right.

The Tampa Bay offense has performed better than most predicted. However, their O-line has struggled to get any kind of consistent push. The Bucs only average 2.9 yards per rush, which ranks 29th. Let's play White to stay Under this rushing total.

Mike Evans OVER 54.5 Receiving Yards

Why the heck is this number so low? Evans has gone over this number comfortably in the first two games of the season. He's also coming off a stellar performance against the Bears where he hauled in six catches for 171 yards and a touchdown.

Checking last year's statistics makes me like this Over even more. I know it was with a different QB, but Evans median receiving yardage in 2022 was 71. This tells us that there's a lot of value on this Over at anything under 60.

While the Philly secondary was good last season, they've gotten off to a slow start in 2023. The Eagles are giving up 6.7 yards per pass, which ranks 22nd in the NFL. They're also allowing 326 passing yards per game, which ranks next to last in the league.

Cade Otton OVER 26.5 Receiving Yards

I know that Cade Otton isn't exactly a household name yet, but he's a decent tight end that I think can have some success in this game. The former Washington Husky caught six passes last week for 41 yards in a decent performance against the Chicago Bears.

Baker Mayfield should look Otton's way on several occasions, especially since the Eagles pass rush is above average. As strange as it may sound, this is a favorable match up for Otton. Philadelphia has been struggling for quite some time to defend the tight end position.

The Eagles gave up 66 yards and two touchdowns to TJ Hockenson last week. They also gave up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown to Hunter Henry in week 1 against the Pats. Look for Otton to cruise over this receiving yardage total on Monday Night Football.
