Week 15 of the NFL season was one of the best we’ve had thus far in terms of matchups and playoff movement, but it also provided a lot of heartbreak. Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL in the game where the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff hopes were officially dashed, and Micah Parsons is feared to have torn his, as well.
The Green Bay Packers’ defense won’t be the same without him, and they’re now in danger of losing out on the NFC North title if they’re not careful. A week this crazy deserves one more game, and luckily enough for us, the Miami Dolphins are heading to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Steel City, and we’ve got you covered with some of the best player props for this matchup. Let’s get into it!
Aaron Rodgers OVER 209.5 Passing Yards
Aaron Rodgers’ season has been a roller coaster, to say the least. He’s had games where he looks like a vintage MVP, and then he’s had others where he shows his age, to say the least. While it’s somewhat hit-or-miss on when Rodgers is going to have a big game, we’re relatively confident in him tonight.
The Dolphins’ defense has been spotty at best all season, and with the Steelers needing a win to stay atop the AFC North, we’re thinking he’s going to pull out all the stops to keep his team in it. We’re gladly taking the over on his passing yardage and would be confident in this line all the way up to 239.5 yards.
Tua Tagovailoa UNDER 193.5 Passing Yards
Tua, Tua, Tua. This was supposed to be his year, the year that everything came together for the Dolphins. However, that has not been the case, and Tua just hasn’t been the guy for this team. He’s been disappointing, to say the very least, and we can’t trust him to have a big game.
The Dolphins’ season is already over from a playoff perspective, so they don’t have much to play for. We wouldn’t be surprised if Tagovailoa had one of his worst performances of the year in this one, so we’re certainly riding with the under on his passing total.
De’Von Achane OVER 27.5 Receiving Yards
While we’re not excited about Tagovailoa tonight, there’s a world where he hits the under on his passing line and De’Von Achane goes over his receiving line, which is what we think will happen in this one.
Achane is one of the best pass-catching backs in the league and is often used as a safety valve when Tagovailoa gets in trouble. He’s had 28+ receiving yards in three of his past five games, and we’re certainly expecting that trend to continue in this contest.
