Dolphins at Eagles Live Odds and Best Bets for SNF

Sunday of NFL Week 7 will end with a bang, as Miami heads north to take on Philly on Sunday Night Football. Both teams are 5-1 but the Eagles will particularly be in a foul mood after losing their first game of the season last week against the Jets.

What team should you side with? Check out our best bets for SNF right here and we'll see you at the window.

Best Bet: Dolphins +2.5 over Eagles

The 5-1 Dolphins are 1st in the league in points scored per game with 37.2. They also have the #1 passing and rushing offense in the league, giving them the top total yardage per game (505.7).

While Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have been mainstays for Tua and the passing game, the run game has had different heads at different points. Raheem Mostert began the season as the lead back but was replaced when injured by De’Von Achane who seemingly came out of nowhere to average 115ypg and 7 total touchdowns.

Achane has since gone down and Mostert is back to leading the backfield. He looked to not have missed a step last week when he took 17 carries for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Panthers. The defense, however, has been lacking a bit and allows 26ppg which is 26th in the league.

The 5-1 Eagles were handed a humbling loss last week. Yours truly was in attendance to watch what seemingly was Jalen Hurts’s worst start in a long time. He finished with 3 interceptions and just 1 touchdown.

The run game was barely existent as the backs only received a total of 14 carries between the 3 of them. The defense held up as much as they could and held the Jets to only 244 total yards but the short fields that the turnovers led to was too much to overcome.

This game is featuring the top 2 offenses in the league in terms of yardage per game. However, the Eagles defense has been plagued by injuries and the ability to the Dolphins receivers to stretch the field is going to be a serious problem.

Garrett Wilson went for 90 yards on 8 receptions last week, so we can only imagine what type of damage Tyreek Hill is going to do. Home favorites of under 3 points are only covering at a 42.11% rate.
