It’s Thursday, folks, which means we have another Thursday Night Football game! Crazy to think it’s already Week 4. Some of us are already 0-3 in our fantasy football seasons, and that part of our year might be out the window. But, there’s always a silver lining. Player props from Underdog give us an opportunity to play along with every game, and that’s exactly what we plan to do tonight!
The 1-2 Dallas Cowboys take on the 1-2 New York Giants in tonight’s matchup, a game that could certainly be interesting. Both teams are trying to even their record on the season, but only one will accomplish that goal.
The other will fall to 1-3, giving them an outside chance to make the playoffs.
We think the Cowboys are going to win this with ease, which is why you’ll see our player props reflect that. Without further adieu, let’s get into our top plays!
Player | Prop | Price |
---|---|---|
Dak Prescott | Over 241.5 Pass Yards | |
Dak Prescott | Under 245.5 Pass Yards |
Dak Prescott has tried to be Superman in the Cowboys’ last two games, throwing for at least 293 yards in each. They’ve lost both games, and his numbers have only been inflated due to the Cowboys being in a negative game script.
We don’t think that’ll be the case tonight, as the Giants don’t exactly look great as an offense. Look for Prescott to have a strong first half, later deferring to his rushing attack, hitting the under on his passing total.
This isn’t necessarily a lot of yards for an NFL QB, but it is for someone who we expect to be handily leading the game.
You might think we’re crazy for this pick, especially because CeeDee Lamb has had north of 100 yards in two of his past three games against the Giants.
However, he and Prescott haven’t gotten into a great rhythm thus far, and he has only eclipsed 90 receiving yards in one game.
He was only targeted seven times in the loss last week, and until he proves to be a bigger part of the Cowboys’ plans, we’re taking the under on his total yardage.
The Giants might be a poor offense, but they do have a Ferrari on their team named Malik Nabers. Nabers is a certified beast, someone who has helped Daniel Jones look better than he’s performed in recent weeks.
He’s making a major impact on the Giants’ offense, and while the Cowboys will be ready for him, we still think he’s going to rack up at least seven catches.
The Cowboys simply don’t have anyone else, and we’ll take the gamble that he’s going to have another monster performance.
