Happy Monday sports bettors, except for fans of the Dallas Cowboys (like me). OUCH! What a complete beatdown the Niners laid down on Dak and The Boys! I went to bed halfway through the third quarter out of sheer depression.
Let's get into the crazy bets and bad beats from NFL Week 5. If you happen to have bet on the Cowboys or Patriots yesterday, I send you my sincerest condolences.
This bettor turned $5 into over $153k with this WILD NFL Sunday parlay 🤯
Always trust in your studs 🤑 pic.twitter.com/hsAkOk5JsW

Who says you can't make money betting on the NFL's biggest stars? While some of the sharpest minds in sports betting shy away from betting on big names to perform well, this fella at FanDuel cashed out in a big way by doing just that!
The parlay included 8 stud players, but we all know that any type of 8-leg parlay is nearly impossible to cash! Even still, this bettor came out smelling like a rose. Stefon Diggs and Calvin Ridley got the party started by both going Over 100 yards in their early tilt in London. Both guys led their respective squads in receiving yardage, so these both got home with ease.
Devon Achane and Breece Hall were also easy cashes. Both stud running backs broke off TD runs of more than 70 yards! Geez! Talk about running with bad intentions!
Cooper Kupp, Ja'Marr Chase, DeAndre Hopkins, and AJ Brown all easily exceeded 100 receiving yards to send this crazy bettor at FanDuel $153,000 richer.
A bettor in NJ had himself a day yesterday!
They turned $25 into over $29K on this 11-leg NFL Spread bet including some wild finishes 😱 pic.twitter.com/5rmiQ1ObvW

Want to hear about another crazy bet? How about an 11-leg parlay featuring all NFL sides? That's exactly what one sports investor at Caesars placed in Week 5.
What makes this bet so crazy is that NFL sides are considered to be the most efficient betting market in all of sports. That means that the likelihood of this parlay cashing was between slim and none. That didn't deter this bettor from placing $25 on this so-called lottery ticket.
What's even more surprising about this wager was that most of the sides weren't even a sweat! The Jets, Colts, 49ers, Bengals, Dolphins, Chiefs, Lions, Eagles, and Saints all got home without many worries.
The other 2 picks were a different story! The Falcons needed a last-second field goal from Younghoe Koo to just barely cover the -1.5-point spread against the Texans.
The Steelers played terribly for most of their game against the Steelers, but Kenny Pickett found George Pickens for a 41-yard touchdown with just over a minute left to put the Steelers on top for good! What a nice $29,000 score for this sports bettor at Caesars!
🚨 BIG BET ALERT 🚨
One customer has bet $50,699.63 on TEN Titans ML (-130) vs IND Colts
Potential Payout: $89,699.35 💰 pic.twitter.com/v5xZHJnBXL

Well, it can't all be sunshine and rainbows. While our 2 crazy bettors fattened their wallets, someone at DraftKings didn't fare so well. They bet over $50K on the Titans to beat the Colts at the moneyline price of -130.
Things got off to a pretty decent start, as Nick Folk hit a field goal to give Tennessee a 3-0 lead late in the first quarter. Unfortunately, Zack Moss erased that lead with a 56-yard touchdown run just before the teams traded field goals in the second quarter. The Colts led 10-6 at the break.
The Titans came out of halftime with a nice 75-yard drive that culminated with a 19-yard touchdown run from backup RB Tyjae Spears. That put Tennessee up 13-10, but Mr. Moss once again erased the lead with a TD run for Indy.
Nick Folk cut the Colts' lead to one at the start of the 4th quarter. Unfortunately, the Colts defense suppressed the Titans offense and held them scoreless the entire last stanza. That was definitely a bad beat to the tune of 50K! OUCH!
