Cowboys at 49ers Live Odds and Best Bets for SNF

One of the NFC's most storied rivalries will be re-kindled once again on the Week 5 version of Sunday Night Football. The Dallas Cowboys will head west to take on the San Francisco 49ers in what will be a rematch of last year's Divisional playoff game.

Before getting into our best bets for SNF, check out the live odds for Cowboys at 49ers. Good luck with your action!

Best Bet: 49ers -3 (buy 1/2 pt) over Cowboys

The Cowboys looked to be one of the top teams in the league before running into Arizona 2 weeks ago on the road. The 28-16 loss was stunning for most, but they were able to turn around the following week and took their frustrations out on the Patriots by picking up a 38-3 win.

They are 4th in the league averaging 31ppg and #1 in the league defensively, allowing just 10.3ppg. Dak has been solid yet underwhelming. While he has limited his interceptions to just 1 through 4 games but also has tossed just 4 touchdowns.

While the Cowboys have looked solid, the 49ers have looked nearly unbeatable. At 4-0, they are being touted as the team to beat in the league. They have the 3rd best offense (31.3ppg) and defense (14.5ppg) in the league.

Christian McCaffery has been looking like a true MVP candidate. He is averaging almost 115 yards per game and has picked up 7 total touchdowns. Brock Purdy is averaging 255 yards per game through the air and George Kittle has yet to break out this season.

This will easily be the toughest test for both teams. While Dallas has been great on defense in creating turnovers and returning them for touchdowns, they have not been great against the run.

They are allowing an average of 111 yards per game on the ground and have faced no back anywhere near the caliber of McCaffrey. Barkley would be a close 2nd but the Giants were down so early they needed to abandon their run game.

We expect the 49ers to be effective on the ground which will lead to their typically effective play-action passing game. The Niners will make a statement this Sunday night.

Key Betting Trends for Dallas at San Francisco:

  • Dallas is 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games against an opponent in the NFC West division.
  • Dallas is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games played on a Sunday when playing on the road.
  • SF is 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games.
  • SF is 9-0 ATS in their last 9 games at home.
