Hello everyone, and happy Thursday! If you’ve been tuning into Thursday Night Football over the past two weeks, you’d know that we’ve been treated to some great games. The matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers was one for the history books, and last week’s game was between conference rivals, the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers.
We’re not exactly in for the same caliber of game tonight between the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints. The Broncos have a stellar defense, but both offenses are rolling out rookie quarterbacks, so the ceiling in this game is somewhat limited when it comes to offensive output.
That said, we were still able to scrounge together our top Thursday Night Football props, needing an extra reason to watch this game! Let’s dive into our favorite plays.
This game presents the perfect storm for Bo Nix to break out. Nix has put together a few decent performances thus far, including a 206-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 5 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
If he can throw for 206 against the Raiders, there’s no reason why he can’t throw for over 194 against the Saints tonight, who allow over 260 passing yards per game. He might not be the best rookie quarterback this season, but he’s shown enough over the past few weeks to have confidence in his ability to hit this over.
Player | Prop | Price |
---|---|---|
Alvin Kamara | Over 80.5 Rush Yards | |
Alvin Kamara | Under 80.5 Rush Yards |
Alvin Kamara might be the best offensive player in this game, and we love his chances of flexing that muscle throughout this game. The Broncos have been a great defense all year, but their weakness has been against running backs.
They allowed J.K. Dobbins to rush for 96 yards, Bucky Irving to go for 70, Najee Harris for 69, and Kenneth Walker III for 103. With that in mind, we’re hammering the over on this line for Kamara, who could have well over 100 all-purpose yards in this one.
The Broncos offense isn’t necessarily that potent, but it’s seeming to run through Courtland Sutton more and more every week. He had 12 targets in Week 1, 11 in Week 3, and 9 in Week 4.
This is a pretty good indicator that he’s in line for another big night tonight, especially with Josh Reynolds out. We’re not going to try and predict what his reception total will be, or how many total yards he’ll have, but we do feel confident that he’ll be a target monster once again.
