Bills at Jaguars: 2 Player Props and Best Bet for AFC Wildcard

Bills at Jaguars 2 Player Props and Best Bet

The Jaguars are undervalued as they host this AFC Wild Card matchup this weekend against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. With Parker Washington, Travis Etienne, and Trevor Lawrence all playing at a high level, this Jags offense can outscore Allen, who has struggled to find a WR1 all season long. That will come back to haunt him in this one.

Best Bet: Jaguars +1.5

I am not sold on Buffalo’s defense nor outside playmakers to get the job done in this win-or-go-home game against the red-hot Jags led by Liam Coen. While Buffalo finished the year 12-5, they had some extremely rough losses to Miami, Houston, and Philly, where they just could not get the offense rolling at all.

Josh Allen is probably the best Quarterback in this postseason, but outside of him, this Jags team just outmatches the Bills team on all levels, especially with Trevor Lawrence finally having a defense and wide receiver core that uplifts him.

Live player props data coming soon for Khalil Shakir.

Khalil Shakir (BUF) UNDER 44.5 Receiving Yards

Shakir has been underwhelming as the Bills’ WR1 all year long, going for just 719 yards this season (45.3 YPG). He hasn’t hit this prop mark in two straight games since the start of October and has gone two straight games with this ‘under’.

Allen simply trusts other guys in this offense, including his tight ends and James Cook before Shakir, who has somewhat been limited to a short-yard passing target by this scheme.

Live player props data coming soon for Parker Washington.

Parker Washington (JAX) OVER 48.5 Receiving Yards

The antithesis of Shakir has been Parker Washington, who has recently climbed into the top target role for Trevor Lawrence in Jacksonville. Over the last four weeks of the season, Washington has gone for 53/145/110/87 yards with two scores as the Jags went 4-0.

He’s a deep ball threat that seems to get open any time Lawrence gets his reads in when the defense is playing zone. With YAC ability, this is the safest bet of the game.
