Watch for Keenan Allen to build off his breakout performance in a divisional matchup against Detroit, while the tight ends should dominate for the Giants and Dolphins away from home.
As the season has moved along, there have been plenty of negatives for the Chicago Bears. While their close losses will be an off-season discussion, one positive heading into Week 13 is the gradual rise of star wideout Keenan Allen.
After failing to post significant numbers until Week 6 of this season, Allen has since consistently become Caleb Williams’ most targeted receiver. Last week’s breakout of 9 catches on 15 targets for 86 yards in a divisional matchup against Minnesota should be a plus for Allen bettors.
Keenan is finally finding his groove within the offense and faces a Lions defense allowing the second most YPG and most catches per game to the WR position. In similar back-to-back divisional matchups, a similar stat line is on the way for Keenan.
A rookie tight end that has started to come alive as of late, Theo Johnson and the Giants will look for any positives as they try to get back in the win column against the Dallas Cowboys.
Johnson has gone for 35+ yards in each of his last four outings and post-bye week, put together a 3-catch, 39-yard outing against Tampa Bay.
With the game script completely in his favor the rest of this season, 30-yard outings shouldn’t be a far-fetched number for Johnson who is playing 80-90% of snaps per week.
Can you believe that Smith is the 5th ranked tight end in fantasy football this season? I bet Jonnu Smith wasn’t on your radar coming into the season, but after scoring four touchdowns, five games of 45+ yards, and five games of 4+ catches over the Dolphins’ last six games since their bye - Jonnu Smith is the man in this offense.
Tua has targeted Jonnu 19 times over the last two weeks of play making him a focal point of this offense. Taking on a Green Bay defense that allows over 57 yards to the position, the athletic Smith is due for another big game on Thanksgiving.
