Best NFL Player Props for MNF Doubleheader

Week 14 of the NFL regular season blesses us all with a Monday Night Football doubleheader. The Tennessee Titans will take on the Miami Dolphins in one matchup, while the Green Bay Packers will head east to take on the New York Giants in the other. One kind of annoying thing is that both games will kick off at 8:15 PM Eastern Time.

The highway has NOT been kind to the Titans, as they are 0-6 in road games this season. The Dolphins are a perfect 5-0 at home. Green Bay is fresh off a HUGE win over Kansas City on Sunday Night Football, but the G-Men will look to squash their positive momentum.

We don't have an opinion on either side or total, but we were able to dig up a few player prop bets for this MNF doubleheader. Let's dive into those right now. Thanks for reading and best of luck with your prop bets.

Jordan Love OVER 1.5 Pass TD (+105) (DraftKings)

Call us total squares if you want to, but we're jumping on this Over right out of the gate. Jordan Love has looked like a different quarterback since he helped snap the Packers' 4-game losing streak back in Week 9. He's thrown at least 2 touchdown passes in 4 straight ball games, and we think he'll make it 5 in a row on Monday.

From a scouting standpoint, it looks like Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur has finally figured out the types of plays that fit Love's skillset. For the season, Love's median number of passing touchdowns is 2. He's also gone over this total in 7 of his 12 games in 2023.

With those trends in our favor, it's easy to see why we like the plus money Over in this spot. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that New York's secondary sucks. The G-Men rank 22nd in yards per pass allowed and 30th in sack rate. That means Love should have plenty of time to throw, which should equate to at least 2 TD passes in this one.

Chig Okonkwo UNDER 3.5 Receptions (-135) (Caesars)

We're big fans of Chig but the Titans just haven't utilized his talents as much as we thought they would this season. The former Maryland Terrapin is second on the team in receptions, but he's still averaging less than 3 per game. His median number of receptions is 3, and he's stayed under 3.5 in 8 of his 12 ball games in 2023.

Okonkwo has seen a slight uptick in target share since Will Levis took over, so that's a little bit concerning for this Under. That being said, Okonkwo has played 59% or fewer snaps in Tennessee's last 4 games. His median target share for the season is also just 4.

Miami doesn't defend the tight end position incredibly well, but we don't think that'll matter in this case. Let's play Chig to stay Under on Monday evening.

Tyjae Spears OVER 2.5 Receptions (+110) (BetMGM)

There's no way this prop should be at plus money. We love Derrick Henry, but he suffered a concussion against the Colts last week after a hard hit to the head. Even though Henry has cleared the protocol and will play, we think Spears should see more playing time in this game.

For the season, Spears has a median reception number of 3. He ranks third on the team in receptions with 33 and has gone over 2.5 receptions in 7 of his 12 games this season. The former Tulane standout has a median target share number of 4 as well.

What else do we like about this play? The Titans are a heavy underdog, which means they should be throwing the ball around quite a bit. That makes Spears even more likely to catch at least 3 little swing passes coming out of the backfield.
