With Sunday’s NFL schedule giving us the largest spreads of the season, bettors have enticing options to choose from in picking the Week 10 slate of games.
Four games this week have a point spread of at least seven or more points, showcasing some of the league’s best teams facing off against the NFL’s worst franchises. Bettors also have an enticing group of underdog player prop bets to pick from, too.
Our weekly “four sure” picks have under-performed the last two weeks, but overall bettors who follow this author’s advice have secured a profit over 14% from choosing these any time TD scorers. Who’s on tap this week to add to the list?
After earning the starting role this season, Cowboys RB Tony Pollard has exceeded expectations for Dallas in 2023. The fifth-year veteran has rushed for a team-leading 474 yards on 120 carries while also catching 29 of his 35 targets for 190 yards.
Although Pollard has impressed, the RB’s lone scores this season came back in Week 1 against this week’s opponent, the New York Giants.
With New York looking worse for wear, expect Pollard and his backfield teammates to make short work of the Giants by scoring quickly and often in this Week 10 contest.
The Falcons selected RB Bijan Robinson eighth overall in this year’s draft, expecting the former Texas Longhorn runner to make an immediate impact in the NFL. The electric RB has, ranking among the Top 10 in rushing yards (517) and runs over 20 yards (4).
What has eluded Robinson, however, is scoring as the Falcons’ starter has collected just three TDs this year. Arizona is one of the league’s worst defenses against the run.
The Cardinals are yielding over four yards per carry through nine games this season and allowing RBs nine rushing TDs and four receiving TDs in 2023. Expect Robinson to score in this Week 10 matchup against the Cardinals.
Persistently dealing with injuries, multiple members of the Seattle Seahawks’ skilled positions have been listed on the injury report this season. From RB Kenneth Walker III to WRs Jaxon Smith-Njigba, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, Seattle’s medical staff have been busy in 2023.
Despite dealing with a nagging injury, Lockett has yet to miss a game for the Seahawks. The nine-year vet has corralled 38 passes from his team-best 57 targets in 2023, recording 402 yards and three TDs for Seattle this season.
After an abysmal performance last week, expect Lockett and the Seahawks’ offense to get back on track this weekend against the Commanders. Washington is the league’s second-worst defense against WRs, yielding 13 TDs to the position this season.
The injury bug has bit more Minnesota Vikings players this season than most NFL franchises. After losing both QB Kirk Cousins and RB Cam Akers in the past two weeks, the Vikings’ offense is in a world of hurt until WR Justin Jefferson – who just returned this week from the IR – is back on the field.
In the meantime, TE T.J. Hockenson should be the Vikings’ most-dynamic scoring option. With QB Josh Dobbs under center for only the second time this weekend, Hockenson should add to his team-leading totals in receptions (60) and targets (80). Hockenson has hauled in 547 receiving yards and three TDs in 2023.
While New Orleans is a top-tier passing defense, the TE position has been its blind spot. The Saints have allowed four TDs to TEs in their past four games, the worst among the NFL over that span. Expect Hockenson to score Sunday against New Orleans and help propel the Minnesota offense as Dobbs’ security blanket.
