The 2025 NFL Draft is almost here! There has been so much build-up to this year’s draft, as there seems to be every year, but there’s a lot of uncertainty leading up to the event. Some analysts are convinced that certain prospects are locks for specific teams, while others have an entirely different opinion.
We’ve done our best to weed through the noise and reporting and have put together our best bets for the big event, hoping to make it a bit more exciting while we’re watching the picks go down. Let’s get into our favorite bets from the action, all of which are found on the FanDuel Sportsbook!
For weeks, Shedeur Sanders’ name has been red-hot. He was solid for two different organizations at the collegiate level, a player who has a lot of upside in the NFL. It seemed like he was a lock to be a top two pick a few weeks ago, but there’s been a lot of chatter lately that he could fall in the draft, perhaps even out of the top ten.
We’re not buying it, considering how many different teams are looking to fill this position, which is why we’re loving this line, especially at +200. We’re not certain what team he’ll end up on, but it seems unlikely that Sanders will fall out of the top 10 given his measurables and his family history in the NFL.
There are a lot of strong running backs in this year’s draft, and we could see several get taken in the first round, including TreVeyon Henderson. Henderson was a beast at Ohio State, and while he might not have as high of a ceiling as a player like Ashton Jeanty, he could still be a valuable contributor to an NFL franchise.
Especially since the Kansas City Chiefs just conducted a last-minute virtual interview with him and are picking near the end of the first round, we like Henderson’s chances of being taken on Night 1, either by the Chiefs or another RB-needy organization.
We wanted to throw at least one pick of +500 or better in this article for something of a longshot, and believe this prop could hit for the Green Bay Packers. We all know their history of not drafting wide receivers in the first round, but this year could be different, especially since Christian Watson has been injured so much in the early stages of his career.
The Packers made a major investment in Jordan Love, and they need to start adding pass-catchers to this roster that can help make him look better. With that in mind, we think this could be the year they break their streak and go after a top option in this class.
