Minnesota shooting guard Anthony Edwards has started the new year off on the right foot. Through three games, Edwards has averaged 35 points per game, including a 53-point explosion against Detroit in a loss to the Pistons Saturday.
The New Orleans Pelicans are up next for the Timberwolves, the first meeting between these two Western Conference foes. Expect Edwards to continue his torrid scoring streak and pour in at least 30 points against one of the worst teams in the league on Tuesday.

Atlanta Hawks PG Trae Young OVER 3.5 3-Point Field Goals
Atlanta point guard Trae Young has also started 2025 off on a high night. The 6-foot-1 player has poured in 27.7 points per game thus far in January, shooting over 39 percent from the three-point line during his team’s recent road swing.
The Hawks are visiting the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night to continue this six-game road trip. Young has paced his teammates every game thus far, and Utah provides an excellent opportunity for the guard to continue his sharpshooting performances. Denver Nuggets C Nikola Jokic OVER 11.5 Rebounds
Denver center Nikola Jokic again has his team in contention for a top Western Conference seed in the playoffs. The do-it-all player is second in the league with 31.5 points per contest, third in the NBA with 13.0 rebounds per night, and second among all players with 9.7 assists per outing.
Tuesday’s game is a home contest against the defending champion Celtics. Through his first 31 games, Jokic has not followed up a single-digit rebounding effort without hitting double figures. On Saturday, Jokic had only nine rebounds against the Spurs. Expect him to hit 12 rebounds at least to help his team have a strong showing against Boston.

Golden State Warriors PG Stephen Curry OVER 5.5 Assists
The Golden State Warriors are struggling after their torrid start. Golden State has lost eight of their past 12 games, but that’s not due to future Hall of Famer Stephen Curry. He’s averaging 22.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists this season to pace the Warriors’ offensive attack.
