Timberwolves vs. Nuggets 3 Player Props for April 1

Happy Tuesday to all! It might be April Fools' Day, but tonight’s NBA slate is no joke, as there are seven games on the docket, with many of them having some serious playoff implications. We’ve taken a look at Underdog’s player prop offering for the evening and decided to focus our attention on the awesome matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets.

This is a rematch from last year’s Western Conference Semifinals and could very well be a matchup in this year’s playoffs, depending on how things shake out at the end of the regular season. These teams are pretty familiar with each other, so we’re excited to get into our top props from the action!

PlayerPropPrice
Nikola JokicOver 12.5 Rebounds
Nikola JokicUnder 12.5 Rebounds

Nikola Jokic UNDER 10.5 Rebounds

Nikola Jokic has been one of the best players in the NBA for a few years now, and there’s good reason for that. He’s a triple threat, considering his ability to shoot, rebound, and distribute the ball efficiently, giving the Nuggets an instant leg-up on their competition.

He’s dominated the Timberwolves in two of these three aspects lately but has a tough time racking up rebounds like he does against other teams. In fact, in the last 10 games he’s played against them, including the playoffs, Jokic has only achieved 11 rebounds on three separate occasions.

The Wolves have his number in this area, even without Karl Anthony-Towns on the roster, and with that in mind, we’re fading his rebounding total tonight.

PlayerPropPrice
Julius RandleOver 18.5 Points
Julius RandleUnder 18.5 Points

Julius Randle OVER 19.5 Points

Jokic might struggle to get boards tonight, but we’re confident in Julius Randle and his ability to put up a crooked number in the scoring column in this one. Randle has scored 20+ in eight of his past 10 games against the Nuggets, including his last three matchups with them.

Having Randle on the floor gives the Nuggets someone else to defend, often needing to choose between him and Anthony Edwards. Both players could have big games, but we’re especially confident about Randle’s odds of scoring at least 20 in this one.

PlayerPropPrice
Aaron GordonOver 15.5 Points
Aaron GordonUnder 15.5 Points

Aaron Gordon OVER 13.5 Points

Aaron Gordon went on quite the run during March, averaging an impressive 18 points per game for the Nuggets. The team should rely on him a lot tonight, especially if the Timberwolves shut Jokic down like they have in other matchups.

Gordon can put points on the board when given the opportunity, and we expect him to take full advantage tonight, scoring at least 14 points and going over his projection!
