Tatum is the main scorer on this incredibly talented Celtics squad. He's averaging 27 points per game and has netted 25 or more in 41 of his 62 ball games this season. The former Duke standout also just scored 29 points against the Suns 5 days ago on March 9th.
Tatum is also 19-12 to the Over against this line (24.5 points) in home games during the '23-24 campaign. All of these trends are nice, but the real reason we like Tatum in this spot is the health of Jaylen Brown, who is listed as a game-time decision due to a back injury. If Brown can't go, Tatum should be getting quite a few more field goal attempts.
As for Durant, we like him to have a big game tonight on the road for the Suns. The former Texas Longhorn is averaging 28.5 points per game this year and has scored 25 or more in 42 of his 58 games. Durant lit up Boston like a Christmas tree for 45 points on March 9th, so look for him to build on those positive vibes.
Durant has also gone over 24.5 points in 18 of his 28 road games this season. Boston has an elite defense, but they showed 5 days ago that they don't have a defender that's capable of slowing down KD.
