Pacers vs Knicks Predictions: 3 Underdog DFS Picks for Game 5

We have made it to Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals! The Indiana Pacers have taken a commanding 3-1 lead over the New York Knicks, a result that few saw coming.

We know that the winner of this series will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Finals. Can the Pacers close it out? We’ll soon find out.

Tyrese Haliburton OVER 21.5 Points

We’ve faded Tyrese Haliburton a few times this series and gotten burned, so we’re not going to do that again tonight. This could be another game where he puts up a dud, but we’ll have to live with that, as he’s playing too well to go against him.

Haliburton has been an absolute stud for the Pacers this series, putting up at least 22 points in two of four games, which includes two games with 30+ points. He’s looking to put the Knicks away in their home arena, and we think he’ll pull out all the stops to bring his team another victory.

Karl-Anthony Towns OVER 21.5 Points

We’re taking the same logic/analysis from Tyrese Haliburton and applying it to KAT here. Towns has been awesome for the Knicks all series, coming up with buckets left and right.

It’s safe to say the Knicks won the trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves at this point, given how well he’s played this year, and if they want any chance of winning this game, Towns needs to have a big night.

Jalen Brunson could get his, too, but we still think Towns has enough firepower to score 22, if not get close to 30 like he did in Game 1.

Josh Hart OVER 8.5 Rebounds

Sometimes, you just have to play the hits, which is what we’re doing with our third pick of the night. It might be boring, but if it puts cash in our pockets, I don’t think we’ll complain!

Josh Hart continues to be a dynamic rebounder, a tenacious athlete who isn’t afraid to put his body on the line for his team. The Knicks need him to give them extra possessions tonight, and considering he’s had double-digit boards in three games this series, we’re taking the over on his line again tonight. Let’s hit it big with all three of these overs!
