If you’re a die-hard sports fan, this is one of the best times of year. The MLB season is going in full force, and the NBA and NHL are both in the heat of the playoffs, with multiple games happening every night. Both leagues have been host to some impressive playoff performances thus far, and we can’t wait to see what tonight’s action brings.
There are two NBA games on the slate to be excited about tonight, kicking off with the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks, followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets.
Game 1 was a movie for both series, so we’re hoping for more fireworks in both Game 2’s.
While there are a lot of great props on the board, we are going to focus our attention on the matchup between the Nuggets and the Thunder, putting our top Underdog picks together to hopefully sweep the board. We nearly hit a sweep last night, but Tyrese Haliburton’s game-winning shot put him over his point total. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen again tonight and sweep the board!

Nikola Jokic | Over 28.5 Points | |
Nikola Jokic | Under 28.5 Points |
To say that Nikola Jokic dominated in Game 1 would be an understatement. The Nuggets' big man finished the contest with 42 points, 22 rebounds, and six assists, adding two blocks and a steal. The Nuggets ended up winning this game on a great shot from Aaron Gordon, but that doesn’t take away from what Jokic was able to accomplish in this one.
We like his odds of having another great scoring night in Game 2, especially since the Nuggets want to put the pressure on and be up 2-0 going back to Denver. They played the Thunder a lot tougher than many expected, and we’re hoping for more of the same tonight.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander | Over 27.5 Points | |
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander | Under 27.5 Points |
Get your popcorn ready, because we’re hoping for a battle between two of the NBA’s biggest stars. Jokic and SGA certainly put on a show in Game 1, with SGA adding 33 points of his own, a result that should repeat itself tonight.
The Thunder have some scoring options besides Gilgeous-Alexander, but he’s their main threat, and if they want to tie up this series, he’ll have to put up a big effort to match what we project Jokic to do. Look for him to have around 35 points in this one, hitting the over on this high projection.
Player | Prop | Price |
---|---|---|
Aaron Gordon | Over 1.5 Threes | |
Aaron Gordon | Under 1.5 Threes |
As we mentioned earlier, Aaron Gordon’s shot at the end of Game 1 has been a big story since it won the game for the Nuggets. However, Gordon isn’t typically known as a sharpshooter, or even much of a three-point shooter at all.
He did make three three-pointers last game, but he has only made two or more threes in two of his last 10 games, making this a statistical anomaly. With that in mind, we’re fading Gordon from beyond the arc, believing he’ll go back to his old ways and make under 1.5 threes.
