NBA Wednesday Betting Guide: Top 3 Player Props for October 29

We are taking scoring machines to continue to churn out points in Wednesday’s NBA action. Starting in Detroit, Cade Cunningham hasn’t had a breakout game yet, but tonight against Orlando could be the start of an All-NBA campaign.

Elsewhere, look for Cedric Coward to continue to put the league on notice as Memphis travels to take on a Suns defense searching for answers.

Cade Cunningham (DET) OVER 25.5 Points

Quite surprisingly, the Orlando Magic lead the league alongside the Denver Nuggets in PPG allowed to the point guard spot. After a sub-par performance on Monday night in a blowout loss to Cleveland, I’m looking for the Pistons and Cunningham to get back on track at home against Orlando.

Cade hasn’t hit this prop yet this season, and dating back to last regular season, never had a four-game stretch without scoring 26+ points outside of the Pistons’ first few games in November.

Against an Orlando team that is playing at a fast pace but without much positive momentum, look for Cade to get going early in this one.

Jordan Poole (NOP) OVER 18.5 Points

Speaking of teams that have struggled to defend the point guard spot to open the year, Jordan Poole’s point prop seems like a go against Denver tonight. The newly acquired scoring machine has gone 17/21/22 points for New Orleans while making just 6.3 shots per contest, shooting 37.5% from deep.

While New Orleans tries to develop Fears and Queen alongside this budding core of Poole, Zion, Murphy, Missi, and Jones, Poole should be able to step up as the leading scorer tonight. Denver is allowing nearly 4 threes per contest and over 32 PPG to the position.

Cedric Coward (MEM) OVER 11.5 Points

Our favorite breakout star from Week 1, Cedric Coward is in a solid spot to score 12+ points once again during this young season against Phoenix. The Suns are allowing the most PPG in the league to the small forward spot and are in the bottom 10 in points allowed to shooting guards.

Coward is incredible in transition and should continue to stay hot from downtown especially against this poor Suns bench rotation. With Vince Williams Jr. day-to-day and Ty Jerome plus Scotty Pippen Jr. out of the lineup, Coward should get around 25 minutes once again which should be enough to hit this prop.
