Happy Wednesday, sports fans! It’s another fantastic day to tune into some NBA action, and we’re excited to dive into our favorite player props from Underdog from tonight’s eight-game slate.
If you’ve been following along with us this week, you’d know that we’ve hit five of the six props we’ve given out, which includes a perfect 3-3 day yesterday! We’ve studied the board and looked at past trends, and we believe we’ve put another great card together. Let’s get into it!
Al Horford isn’t typically a starter for the Boston Celtics this season, transitioning into a role player who comes off the bench. This approach has worked well for the Celtics, as Horford still gets plenty of playing time, and brings a much-needed veteran presence to this team.
While Horford has his moments, we’re fading his point total in tonight’s matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers, especially since the line is 10.5. He popped for a 17-point performance against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, but we expect him to come back to earth in this one, especially since the Celtics could take a huge lead early.
Player | Prop | Price |
---|---|---|
Brook Lopez | Over 1.5 Assists | |
Brook Lopez | Under 1.5 Assists |
This line looks a bit odd for Brook Lopez, especially since he’s had three assists in four straight games. Lopez certainly isn’t a prolific passer by any means, but achieving two assists in an NBA game isn’t a hard feat to manage, especially if he plays for more than 30 minutes.
Tonight’s matchup with the Dallas Mavericks could get ugly without many of the Mavericks’ top players, but we think Lopez could hit the over on this line by halftime and give us a sweat-free cash for this prop. A few quick dump-off passes to his play-making teammates should help get this done.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have been easing Chet Holmgren back into the fold, but it seems like he’s effectively all the way back. He has put up a few dud performances, including his 11-point outing against the Houston Rockets on Monday, but we believe this is the exception to the rule.
Holmgren shouldn’t have any problems hitting 15 points tonight, if not closer to 20, considering the Thunder have a good matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies. This game could come down to the wire, giving Holmgren plenty of chances of logging at least 15 points.
