Happy Wednesday, basketball fans! We hope you are ready for another great night of NBA action, because we’ve put our favorite player props together from this nine-game slate that should make our Wednesday night a bit more interesting.
With great matchups like the Boston Celtics and the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets, and the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat, there’s something for everyone tonight. With that being said, let’s dive into our favorite player props from this evening, one from each of these marquee matchups!
Player | Prop | Price |
---|---|---|
Kristaps Porzingis | Over 22.5 Points | |
Kristaps Porzingis | Under 23.5 Points |
This matchup with the Pistons could be a dogfight, as the Celtics are only 4.5-point favorites.
The Pistons have turned into a fun, young team that has a lot of energy, and they’ve started to turn that into winning energy.
The Celtics will need to keep their wits about them to win this game, and they’ll likely rely on Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, and Jaylen Brown for a lot of their scoring. We expect a lot of baskets to happen in transition or on fast breaks in this one, lending itself to more buckets from the aforementioned players rather than Kristaps Porzingis.
Porzingis didn’t play last night, and in a high-energy game, we believe he could have a slow start in the points column, going under his projection of 20.5.

Trae Young | Over 10.5 Assists | |
Trae Young | Under 10.5 Assists |
Trae Young continues to be one of the most impressive passers in the league. He is the NBA’s top assist-getter, with 11.5 per game, and looks to up that average against the Heat tonight.
He’s performed well against them lately, putting up 14, 15, 13, and 11 assists in his past four meetings with the Heat, giving us confidence that he can keep that streak alive tonight.
Young’s teammates have been heating up all year, so as long as they can hit their shots, there’s no reason to believe he can’t hit the over in this spot, if not exceed 11 assists by a decent margin. With that being said, we’re taking the over on his assist mark.
Has the wind been taken out of the Spurs’ sails? After a great win over the Phoenix Suns in Austin, the Spurs have lost three straight, including back-to-back games against the New Orleans Pelicans.
While they’ve been relatively competitive during this losing streak, it will be interesting to see if the team keeps that fight alive, or if they’ll fade over the rest of the season, hoping for a better draft pick to pair with Victor Wembanyama, assuming he can come back next year.
With that being said, we’re fading De’Aaron Fox’s point total tonight, especially considering it’s as high as 22.5 points. The Rockets could get out to an early lead, and if the Spurs throw in the towel by halftime, Fox could have limited opportunities to get to the 24-point mark.
