Hello everyone, and happy Tuesday! We hope you are ready for another great night of NBA action, because we’ve put our favorite Underdog player props together from this seven-game slate that’s bound to provide some fantastic entertainment.
While many people are looking to Luka Doncic’s first matchup against the Dallas Mavericks since he was traded, there are several other games from the evening that we’re stoked to dive into. Without further ado, here are our best player props from the action!
Player | Prop | Price |
---|---|---|
Kristaps Porzingis | Over 22.5 Points | |
Kristaps Porzingis | Under 23.5 Points |
The Boston Celtics are one of the best teams in the league, and let’s just say that the Toronto Raptors leave something to be desired. The Raptors are 18-39 on the year, which includes a 13-18 record at home, and on top of that, they don’t match up well with the Celtics.
This game could get ugly early, and if the Celtics build a healthy lead by halftime, they could rest a lot of their starters, especially in the fourth quarter. We’re not confident in any Celtics players to hit their over on points, especially Kristaps Porzingis, who will get less work and opportunities to score in limited minutes.
San Antonio Spurs fans mourned the loss of Victor Wembanyama for the season, as he has DVT with an undetermined timeline to come back. While having Wemby on the floor is preferred, of course, the Spurs have found a way to make it work without him, with much thanks to De’Aaron Fox.
Fox has proven to be one of the most valuable trade deadline additions across the league thus far, as he’s fit in nicely to this lineup. He not only provides a lot from an assists standpoint, but he’s a fantastic scorer as well, adding value to fill in Wembanyama’s gaps.
With that in mind, we love his odds of having at least 25 points in tonight’s matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans, especially since he had a poor game against them on Sunday and hopes to bounce back in a big way.
We’re not buying into the Luka hype tonight, especially since his points line is set so high. We get it, there’s the narrative that he wants to have a revenge game against the Mavericks, but we haven’t seen that much from him on the Lakers thus far that gives us confidence.
He did have a 32-point performance against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, his only game with 20+ points in LA. We expect him to still take some time to get used to his new team, resulting in him scoring less than 32 points, a high benchmark for anyone to achieve.
