Happy Tuesday, everyone! We certainly hope you’re having a great day, and with four NBA games on the slate tonight, it will get a lot better. Since there’s no NFL action until the Super Bowl, fans are more tuned into the NBA than they have for several months, and tonight’s game should be worth their weight in gold.
We’re particularly excited about the matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers, but every game has storylines that should help drive fan interaction. We’ve looked at Underdog’s board of player props from these contests, and after some deliberation, we’ve put together our favorite plays from the evening.
Going 1-2 yesterday wasn’t a great start to the week, so we’ll look to get back on track with a sweep tonight. Let’s get into it!
Player | Prop | Price |
---|---|---|
LeBron James | Over 27.5 Points | |
LeBron James | Under 28.5 Points | |
LeBron James | Over 24.5 Points | |
LeBron James | Under 24.5 Points |
We took the over on LeBron’s PRA line last night, which he painstakingly missed by a narrow margin. While getting burned like that by a player might frustrate some people and turn their noses up at them moving forward, we’re embracing James’ point total against the 76ers tonight.
Anthony Davis is coming off a monster scoring and rebounding performance, one that we’re not sure he’ll repeat against the 76ers. It could be James’ turn to have a big night, and since he only had 22 points against the Hornets yesterday, look for him to turn the tides in this one and put an impressive outing together.
Player | Prop | Price |
---|---|---|
Jalen Green | Over 3.5 Assists | |
Jalen Green | Under 3.5 Assists |
With all respect to Underdog, what in the world is this line? Jalen Green has had 3+ assists in four straight games and has achieved this total in eight of his past ten outings.
The Houston Rockets have turned into a fantastic team with a lot of upside, giving Green plenty of opportunities to give his teammates the ball and score from his passes. He might not have the upside of 8+ assists that some players have across the league, but logging three tonight shouldn’t be a problem, which is why we’re taking the over in this spot.
Similar to what we touched on with Jalen Green, this line seems a bit too high for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Sure, Giannis is averaging the second-most points in the league this season, but with the Milwaukee Bucks taking on the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, we’re not touching this over with a 10-foot pole.
The Bucks shouldn’t need to employ his scoring services in this one considering the current state of the Trail Blazers, as they should win with ease. Giannis might end the night with closer to 20 points than 30, so we’ll take the under here.
