NBA Tuesday Betting Guide: 3 Player Props for October 28

In NBA Tuesday action, we have the 4-0 Oklahoma City Thunder hosting the Sacramento Kings. SGA will look to lead the offense once again, with Jalen Williams still sidelined with injury, while in Milwaukee, Gary Trent Jr. looks to get hot from beyond the arc against the Knicks. VJ Edgecombe (PHI) UNDER 5.5 Assists

Edgecombe has potentially supplanted Cooper Flagg as ROTY favorite early on in the season, averaging 25 PTS, 6 AST, and 5.7 REB per contest in three Philly wins. Shot out of a cannon, Edgecombe plays with an unmatched pace, and he should continue to have a fantastic season as Tyrese Maxey’s counterpart. With that being said, VJ’s 15 assists over his last two contests are numbers that cannot keep the pace.

He is the secondary playmaker to Maxey, and against a Washington team that has length across the floor, I believe VJ will act more as a pure scorer than a playmaker in this one. Against starting secondary playmakers, Washington has allowed 3 assists to Sexton, 4 assists to Anthony Davis, and 2 assists to Kevin Porter Jr. I’m taking VJ’s under here as he continues to dominate as a slashing scorer.

Gary Trent Jr. (MIL) OVER 2.5 Threes

GTJ could very well end up as the second leading scorer for this Bucks team. He is averaging 14.3 PPG on 3.3 3 PM per contest through their first three games. The 26-year-old shooter will find his rhythm soon as he looks to hit that 40% 3PT mark once again this season.

Against a New York team that is playing at a faster pace offensively with Mike Brown at the helm, I’m looking for more offensive opportunities for these Bucks, especially with the attention turned towards Giannis in the paint.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC) OVER 32.5 Points

SGA and the Thunder have started the season 4-0 with four consecutive close victories. They host Sacramento today on a back-to-back and after scoring just 23 points last night against the Mavericks in a defensive victory, Shai should get back on track tonight at home against a Kings team he’s broken down for 36.1 PPG in their last eight matchups.

With Jalen Williams still out of the lineup, it will be the MVP’s moment once again tonight against the Kings who have a bottom-tier defense in the West.
