This Tuesday, let’s take a look at some of the top prop bets of the night, including Kawhi Leonard to stay hot from the field after an epic 55-point outing. Elsewhere, Lauri Markkanen should be the go-to guy for Utah as an underdog against the Celtics.
Check out our entire player props card for December 30th. Best of luck with all of your NBA action!
F Cedric Coward (MEM) OVER 1.5 Threes
Cedric Coward is getting meaningful minutes for this Memphis team, fighting for early-season playoff positioning. Coward is just awful away from home from beyond the arc, shooting 22% in those cases against a 41% hit rate on 2.0 3 PM in home contests.
Not to mention, the rookie wing also averages above 15 PPG in home games. He’s been inconsistent from deep, but against a Philly team that has lost three straight, I could see the Grizzlies and Coward getting off to a fast start with some transition 3s.
F Lauri Markkanen (UTA) OVER 27.5 Points
Lauri has been consistent since coming back from injury, as Utah is on a two-game win streak. A true three-level scorer, Lauri has a solid matchup against Boston today and should be able to get to the free-throw line against slower bigs and smaller wing defenders.
In what should be a high-scoring, 3-point shooting galore of a game, I like the pace to help Lauri to another 30-point game.
F Kawhi Leonard (LAC) OVER 29.5 Points
Why not ride the hot hand into the new year? Leonard has been playing out of his mind of late, scoring 32/41/28/55 points over his last four outings as LA has won their last four with Kawhi on the floor.
There is a sense of urgency for the Clippers to make a run as we approach the mid-way point of the regular season, and that starts and ends with Leonard. Against a Kings team that allows 122 PPG as well as the worst FG% in the association, let’s take Kawhi to continue to have the hot hand.
